The plot is good. Anurag's acting was very realistic and convincing. Even Bonny Kapoor's short appearance was pretty good. Anil's son overacted too much. It was a good script, good direction. Camera work was above average. The cast and make-up could have been better. All the side actors-actresses were not looking or acting like normal people, I mean their acting looked like acting. Its a must watch. Should be nominated for all film festivals, Best Ani Kapoor Performance ever.
Bruce Willis is actually in this one quite a bit, rather then the one scene films he usually appears in these days, but he doesn't really have much to do and most scenes are just him sipping from a hip flask and watching someone else work. I suppose you could watch this as a drinking game film and take a drink every time Bruce does, maybe that what the writers were going for. I've seen a sci-fi film with such poor production values in some time. I'm sure this was shot on a very limited budget but its difficult to suspend disbelief when you are watching a spaceship with concrete walls and chipboard hyper sleep chambers. Either way its not much fun to watch unless you enjoy looking at how to cheaply make an unconvincing spaceship set.
Watched this with my 6 year old. Pretty good, but the plot is mostly for kids. we both loved it! Reminded me of the Queen's Corgi, quite predictable but so enjoyable. Really made my son laugh and me too, in different places. Really cute and a good clean ending.
Russell Crowe's acting of this maniacal character was to.tally believable. And it looked so natural to him scary. This movie kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. A good lesson about not reacting to other people's discourteous driving habits! The camera angles are in your face, and there is a lot of violence. I would not want this guy after me! Russell Crowe did a fine job, though.
Absolutely brilliant. There are no words to describe this movie. On the first watch its great, and on the second watch its a masterpiece. The plot is an intricately laid out puzzle, and the movie itself is like origami, which unfolds itself as the story progresses. Any negative reviews are most likely because they weren't able to understand the plot, but watching it twice or managing to figure it out is extremely rewarding. Even the character development is perfect. They are agents who are supposed to be ready to die at any moment, and so it makes perfect sense to not know much about the protagonist. Its Nolan most intense and grand ride, and it does not disappoint. Definitely a must watch for all cinema lovers. The massive scale, score, and visuals are all absolutely stunning. Experience it in cinemas, on a big screen, it is an experience that deserves that.
