Man this movie was amazing. A must-watch-1-time movie . It touches a socially relevant topic with the help of the story of a failed young entrepreneur Raghu Mehta ( Rajkumar Rao ) who belongs to an orthodontist Gujrati family. The movie is spiced by the enigmatic screen presence of Boman Irani and Paresh Rawal. Talking of Rajkumar it seems that " sky is the limit " for that guy. He picks up that gujju accent really well . Story seems a bit stretched in the first half but the second half keeps you glued to the seat. Moving to the songs most of them are the remake of Gujarati folks and i have no complaints regarding that. Direction is superb. This movie has got some quirky lines such as that of Paresh Rawal about the customer.

Prudvi posted a review for Made In China in Movies

Didn't Understand why the movie is titled "Made in China " . It begins by explaining the meaning of ‘aphrodisiac’ – a food, drink or any other thing that stimulates sexual desire to the audience. The film picks up a taboo subject, and assumes it will strike a chord with the audience for that choice alone. It also hopes overthinking will help it get achieve kudos, it doesn’t.A meandering product with sexual problems at its core, Rajkummar Rao, Mouni Roy and Boman Irani-starrer Made in China seems to be as confused about what it is supposed to be as the audience watching it. Not worth watching if you want to know what's being made in china.

Murali posted a review for Made In China in Movies

Made in China starts off on a sure footing as it sets itself up as a crime investigative story. A Chinese General is found dead after he helps himself to a cup of Chinese ‘Magic Soup’. The investigators believe that an ingredient found in the soup, which is derived from tigers, is the reason behind the General’s death. The owner of the soup company, Raghuvir and those who worked with him are summoned to get to the bottom of this mystery.

Great film with strong content and social message. The story is based on the major issue of our society. It takes time to create a story in the first half. But in the second half you will easily get connected. Rajkumar Rao plays the Gujarati character very well. Boman Irani's character was very energetic and it seems natural for some time. Paresh Rawal's cameo was awesome. In the climax you will be really surprised and appreciate the character. Mouni Roy's screenplay was short but he played it well. The songs are average. The background music sounded weak in some scenes and so you can get bored especially in the first half. Everything else is good. This film could have been made more interesting and impressive.

In fact, so long, that you may not be blamed if you forget mid-way that this was all being related to uncover the story behind the death.

A movie that moves you, if I may state a few words. It will strike as a cheap comedy at first, one based in China, but it ends up being far more than that. It is rather an attempt to put forward the situation quite synonymous to the typical Indian crowd, it takes the courage to do what others may despise and comes across beautifully. And to add to that, Rajkumar Rao's scintillating performance with Boman Irani's hilarious quirks. It is for sure a must watch, if you are willing to undermine a few tiny blunders.
