Malang movie #review:- Today after watching #Malang movie i came to conclusion that director Mohit Suri's Malang is one of the best #Bollywood #thrillers in recent times. It keeps you at the edge of the seat right from the start till the end. I think this is the best from the #director so far. Exceptional work indeed! Now coming to the performances, #AnilKapoor steals the show. A much better, aggressive cop at that. He's perfect in every frame! #AdityaRoyKapoor has delivered a fab performance, his best too so far. #KunalKhemu (superb as Michael here) intense job like Aditya did with this role. Kudos to his work. #Dishapatani is no more an eye candy, as she's just excellent as Sara, the carefree girl who wants to explore, experiment and live life to the fullest in the beginning or a concerned woman who wants to keep the baby later! #ElliEvram would surprise you and other supporting cast wouldn't let you down as well! The beauty of #Goa captured by the cameramen, amazing song sequences, fierce #action scenes, great amount of twists and turns and lovely #music, along with some wonderful #acting make this flick a must watch this weekend! #Cinematography is awesome. #Pub culture, disco lights in the #discotheques, are real heaven. And water sports, #underwater #swimming, all of them are very catchy and eye feasting scenarios. And top it all, while doing underwear swimming disha's hour glass figure & Aditya roy kapoor six pack abs looked so perfect. WOW What a lovely pair they make. The #revenge #story holds you throughout and thankfully, in this movie, all the questions are answered at the end and not before. The #twists were good.

A full-on bollywood thriller, with typical Mohit Suri elements, engaging direction & brilliant performances by Aditya & Anil Kapoor(but Kunal Khemu was just okayish & Disha, though looked stunning, still needs to improve on her acting). Super melodious songs & nice, unique camera work(though the camera angles were copied from movies like 1917 & birdman yet at least they made it look different). Wish the storyline was much better and not just a sort of mixture of Murder 2 and Ek Villain. But some terrific direction, crisp editing & good acting blended with soulful music makes this a really entertaining watch ! I was able to connect with it's characters completely & hence found it to be pretty good overall.

Malang An average revenge drama with some good performances, hearty music and captivating visuals as the guardian angel! The movie evokes dejavu of Mohit Suri's own films in the past like Ek Villain,Murder 2 and Half Gitlfriend, the major reason why this revenge thriller ended up as a decent one-time watch at the best. The narrative, even though hackneyed has its share of enjoyable moments and the small twists in the storyline ensured that the thrills are maintained till the end of the presentation. The chemistry between Aditya Roy Kapur and Disha Patani was lovable and both the actors played their part really well. Anil Kapoor and Kunal Khemu too made their presence felt with memorable acts. All the songs were impressive with the picks being the title song and the highly addidtive 'Chal Ghar Chalein'. Overall - Malang is a decent revenge drama that's worth a one time watch from the cinemas! 3/5

**A very good attempt to a brilliant romantic thriller** Loved the story and cinematography! Good to see use of day-to-day contemporary camera equipments like GoPro Hero8 being used to shoot few scenes. Also, brilliant on the visuals of the movies too! Although not too much. Music is also really good in this movie. No doubt! But coming to the entire execution and acting: The acting by each and everyone is just mind blowing. Hats off to Aditya and Anil Kapoor! What great acting him by them both. Disha and kunal had done fabulas work. Overall a nice movie, go and watch it for a typical Mohit soori film!

Malang has all the ingredients to make the movie enjoyable. I love it when the backdrop is Goa and that adds automatically a beauty that appease eyes. Four actors are worth applauding here- Anil Kapoor, Kunal Khemu, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Disha. Anil Kapoor got a very interesting and layered character to play and with just his body language, we understand what his personality is. As a seasoned actor, this must come natural to him. Needless to say, Anil Kapoor's versatility is unmatched. Kunal Khemu gave me shivers. His character and how he conveyed that role to me, the audience, made me wonder of human psyche overall. When the story starts, we pay less attention to this character but as the story progresses, we look out for the personality and try getting inside his head. His acting walked through that thin line of perfection that light up a spark of fear in my soul. Now the hero, Aditya. It was with smoothness he slipped from that carefree soul to the man who demands eye for an eye. The Happy Aditya and the Angry Aditya was equally convincing. So with this role, he built up his resume: romantic hero, action hero, aggressive hero, chilled out hero, tragedy hero. The heroine played by Disha has a lovable personality. The way she manages to protray the integrity of her character at the same time looking drop down gorgeous is remarkable. Though her dialogs were supportive for her narration, it was her facial expressions that made us route her story from her happy days to her not happy days. The movie has its highs and lows with the highs extremely beautiful and lows ignorable. The revenge story holds you throughout and thankfully, in this movie, all the questions are answered at the end and not before. The twists were good and were made good only because of the meritocracy of the star cast. The poetic justice of the revenge story leaves us satisfied and we go home in peace. So whether it's worth watching in theatre, let's list out the why: - For love of Goa, seeing Goa in big screen is a high - the songs are so beautiful and imagine hearing that in a plush theatre, hearing sensory all happy - there are interesting twists and plots. In order to enjoy this jolts to the brain, you got to see before someone else does it and give your spoilers - this is a good choice for a movie date. The vibes that clicks instantly between the hero and heroine can create a nostalgia. - everyone acted decent enough that you will not get irritated over the money wasted

Malang is one of the most exciting edge-of-the-seat thrillers Bollywood has ever made. Mithoon's BGM is mind-blowing. Anil Kapoor's awesome performance as a cop is sure to get him several awards. As usual, Aditya Roy Kapur and Disha Patani are so effortless. The screenplay isn't that great, but that was the case with Ek Villain as well. Mohit Suri's knack lies in lifting an average screenplay and he does it admirably well.

Nancy posted a review for Malang - Unleash The Madness in Movies
Malang is the best Mohit Suri film in years and works because of its well-paced narrative, treatment, performances and unpredictable factor. Talking about its negatives, it seems like a bhel puri of various films we have seen in the past, including some of Mohit Suri's previous flicks. Songs are okay. A few developments don't make much sense and are unconvincing. But on the positive side, the film doesn't bore even for a second. There are lot of characters and sub plots but they are well stitched together. And the climax is out of this world that suddenly make this one-time-watch film into a must-watch-affair! Aditya Roy Kapur is quite good and in a way, it's in the Aashiqui 2 zone. But the intensity is different here and Aditya excels. Disha Patani gets the maximum screen time in her career arguably, at least in Bollywood. Her screen presence is excellent and she does a very good job. Anil Kapoor as always is entertaining and dependable. Kunal Kehmu, after kalank, pulls off a difficult role with ease once again. Elli Avram looks interesting and emotes well. However her dialogue delivery could have been better. Amruta Khanvilkar is excellent while Devika Vatsa, Vatsal Seth, Keith Sequeira and Prasad Jawade are fine. All in all, Malang is a big surprise of recent times - a film that seemed decent at best from the promos but exceeds expectations and how!

Definitely went beyond my expectations. The movie turned out to be better than its trailer. Once again Mohit Suri has taken the audience's adrenaline gushing with this action-packed, intense thriller . All the actors' performances were par excellence. Won't say much about the plot, because then that will take away the real charm of the movie. Its a must watch. It is definitely worth your money and time. The movie won't disappoint you. I am going to watch the movie again, for sure.

The movie is really worth watching from a Director's point of view. To the point let's accept the fact that every bollywood movies has no or similar story lines, it's the Director who gives a different shape, makes the audience to stay tuned and watch till the end.In terms of acting, everyone has played their part with full honesty. Kunal Khemu is brilliant actor but has under rated so far, though he used the space correctly this time also.

I didn't expect this movie to be so so good, the trailer was already promising but the movie plot had so many twists and turns that it left me entertained & shocked till the last second of the movie. Amazing acting by both Aditya and Disha.Songs are good, but the title song is taken as baseline for few scenes and it makes greater impact.

Malang has a well-written plot and takes you by surprise in the second half. The movie feels predictable and dull initially but goes from 0-100 real quick. Anil Kapoor, Aditya and Kunal all performed well and Disha was decent. Overall a great one time watch, will definitely keep you at the edge of your seat in the climax.

Speaking of performances, each and every actor does fine. Aditya Roy Kapur is in great form. He looks very convincing as a fearless man with a vengeance who can take on dozens of goons. His acting in some crucial scenes could have been better but he manages. Disha Patani probably gets the most screen time ever. She looks gorgeous and delivers a heartwarming performance. Anil Kapoor provides the humour quotient. But his character is a lot more than just a funny man and the talented actor gets it just right. And he looks dashing! Kunal Kemmu’s character too has a lot of shades and he rocks the show. Elli AvrRam is decent at best. Her dialogue delivery could have been a bit better. Vatsal Seth, Keith Sequeira and Prasad Jawade are okay. Devika Vatsa (Vani Agashe) leaves a huge mark in a cameo"

Finally a good action packed realistic love story after a long time. Intense love story and good realistic action scenes except for a few. Concrete story line with an emotional touch to end the movie. All the actors looked good both with their skills and their looks. A twisting, ironical, spicy, entertainment movie which will not let you bore a minute.

This movie is for those who are more inclined to watch suspense Thriller. The movie is directed by Mohit Suri. The movie features Aditya Roy Kapoor, Disha Patani, Anil Kapoor and Kunal Khemu. In the story, advait meets Sara in Goa and they both fall in love with each other. Advait remembers taking pictures with his camera as a profession. On the other hand Sara is a woman of open nature. The music is very well expressed in the movie. The climax of the movie could have been better, just like watching the story. The story revolves around a couple in Goa, confronting two police officers Anjaney Agashe (Anil Kapoor) and Michael Rodriguez (Kunal Kemmu) and the collisions have on each other's future. Advait (Aditya Roy Kapur) is an amazing actor who really brought the character to life in. His physique, and his stunt skills are so stunning that I couldn't take my eyes off and has gone to another level. Disha Patani as Sara, worked well with her body and intellectual acting type, and her attitude as a woman who goes after what she wants. Coming to Kunal Kemmu, he was my sweetheart always. I became his hardcore fan, when I saw his movie "hum hain rahe pyar ke "..that was released in 1993, and he acted as a role of Sunny, with his sweet, smart and quirky character, he outshone and stole my heart. In "Malang " his strenuous attitude, will make you wonder, what it would be like to be an amalgamation of Kunal (Michael)'s greatest weirdos? Well, look no further than Mohit Suri's thriller Malang. Elli Avram, as Jesse, looks determined and convincing. Music by Vikas Sivaraman is exciting, appealing. This exciting musical composition brings out a sense of adventure and student will enjoy the brisk tempo and fiery rhythms. Cinematography is unexplainable. Goan pub culture, disco lights in the discotheques, are real heaven. And water sports, underwater swimming, all of them are very catchy and eye feasting scenarios. And top it all, while doing underwear swimming Aditya's six pack abs and Disha's hour glass figure keep our mouth agape. WOW!!!! What a lovely pair they make!!! This film served as a great entertainment with it's colorful casts and numerous plot twists. There were a few times when the movie felt a bit drawn out, but gorgeous action scenes and impressive dialogues really held the audience attention and keep them on the edge of their seats.Themes endurance, courage, loyalty are some attributes deployed in the move. Despite the films minor short comings, the "Malang " is exciting, creative and well worth a few hours of your time. The film is worth all the praises

The story of Malang offers nothing new and struggles to establish itself throughout. Some scenes appear cliched and others exaggerated. There isn’t much to spoil in this 'suspense-thriller’, but we assure you there are no spoilers in this review.Breaking the story down, Advait meets Sara (Disha Patani) in Goa and the two fall in love (cliche alert). While Sara is a free-spirited young woman who wants to live her life to the fullest, Advait is happier with capturing moments in his camera. She tells Advait, ''Hum apne liye jeeyenge'', and the two begin facing their 'fears' by trying out different adventure sports.

Movie is good for dance lovers otherwise like other Bollywood dance movies the movie lacks a solid plot and story. Plot looks cheap and straight. No suspense but a great action packed movie. Acting is good but not again upto the mark. Visuals are charming like other bollywood movies. A watchable movie for dance lovers who love the moves and way of dancing.

Aditya Roy Kapoor, the aashiqui 2 star, who rose to his stardom with the film i mentioned already has been disappointing the audience since the past few films and this movie, malang follows the path. This movie has nothing new to offer to film lover that wants to spend a few hundred bucks during the weekend. Though with a stellar cast and humble production values the film has failed to create impact. But we get to see some gem level performances particularly from Anil kapoor and Kunal Khemu. AK has shown his other side in this film,as a villain. We never got to see this side of him and that is refreshingly new. Music was good, it added to the flow of the movie. Disha Patani has given her best. Mohit suri who delivered some dark but super hits like Ek Villain has failed to pull this off. Overall I would say you should wait for the tv or digital premier.

Advait meets Sara during his trip to Goa. While he is a bit of an introvert, she is a free-spirited girl from London, who is visiting India for the first time and wants to live life to the fullest. They are instantly attracted to each other and make a pact to make the most of their time together. All is well until a twist in the tale sends their lives spinning out of control. Five years later, Advait goes on a killing spree on Christmas night. Anjaney Agashe, a police officer who often doesn’t follow the law, and Michael Rodrigues, a seemingly righteous cop, are now on his trail. They go on a mad hunt for him. Uncovering the reasons behind Advait's actions is what the rest of the film is about.

Malang is a sweet surprise. I had very low expectations on this movie when it was announced but I liked the trailer cut a lot and the music was fab! And that was the reason why I wanted to watch this film. Aditya Roy Kapoor as Advait and Disha as Sara looked great on screen but it was Anil Kapoor who played the role of a drug addicted ruthless killer cop and he stole the show ( my personal opinion ). The plot was very thin but the narration was good and the background scores and songs deserves an applause. Movie starts with a ruthless action block in a prison and quickly established the plot and screenplay was bang on. Interval was good and the backstory of the cop Michael Rodriguez was decent. Climax could have been better but overall it's a decent film. A good one time watch.

Also story might get little boring and slow pace bit in the first half but the later half will definitely make up for it. Everyone else does a brilliant job. Even kunal has done very convincing role. Mohit Suri's Malang is one of the best Bollywood thrillers in recent times. It keeps you at the edge of the seat right from the start till the end. I think this is the best from the director so far. Exceptional work indeed! Now coming to the performances, Anil Kapoor steals the show. Though he reminds us of the cop he played in Race franchise in the beginning, he's totally different here. A much better, aggressive cop at that. He's perfect in every frame! Aditya Roy Kapoor has delivered a fab performance, his best too so far. We started to have a feeling that he's underrated too, like Kunal Kemu (superb as Michael here), Saif, Abhishek Bachchan and a few others in Bollywood. A very right choice to play this character. No one else would've done an intense job like Aditya did with this role. Kudos to his work. Also heard that he put on some 10 kgs for this character. Well deserving and it has paid for him! Disha is no more an eye candy, as she's just excellent as Sara, the carefree girl who wants to explore, experiment and live life to the fullest in the beginning or a concerned woman who wants to keep the baby later! Elli Evram would surprise you and other supporting cast wouldn't let you down as well! The beauty of Goa captured by the cameramen, scintillating song sequences, fierce action scenes, great amount of twists and turns and lovely music, along with some wonderful acting make this flick a must watch this weekend!

What do you get when you mix Action, Romance and Thrill and top it with a handful of sudden suspense? The answer is Mohit Suri's Malang. The scenes shot in Goa are beautiful though, and will make you want to pack your bags and go adventure sporting this weekend. The last 20 minutes of the film feels like the makers are trying their level best to justify why we saw what we saw. Everything is compressed and thrown to us like a fireball. Malang has some great dialogues but there was room for the improvement on that front as well. They could have been written more cleverly, to provide certain depth to the story to a story that otherwise feels shallow, despite all its complexities. All the Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur fans can visit the theatre to enjoy watching their favorite actors on the screen. As for the others, you can gladly give it a miss. Malang rides on the thrill quotient, has some good looking pairs at its center but that's about it. The plot ends up looking like a mockery of a subject that needed a better storytelling.

Malang was the movie that I was really looking forward to seeing in the theaters very much because of Mohit Suri's past endeavor with suspense thrillers(ek villian and murder 2) and the great intriguing ensemble attached to it.So very much the first scene I saw entering the theater was Aditya Roy Kapoor's back doing bulk of the talking, which was beautifully captured by the cinematographer and we are introduced to the" ruthless" Aditya Roy Kapoor for the first time in his career. The tempo with which the movie commenced was quite enticing.Very soon the other character's attached to story were established and revealed with complications they are going through.Anil Kapoor being a flipped cop fighting with inner demon's was absolutely marvellous and treat to watch on screen.Seeing,Kunal khemu as being the virtuous and convulated cop was something that was done with pure perfection and ease delivering one of the finest performance of his career.Disha patani as Sara was more than an eye candy this time around being a recklessly carefree in her approach and a complete delight to watch. But the real Trump card that stood out was Aditya Roy Kapoor as adavait,he was completely deceitful in a way ranging from being joyous and loveable to cold blooded and sadistic human you can imagine off. Screenplay was a bit lousy only on certain section keeping an account of Adavait and Sara's love story felt a bit lengthen up on the contrary to the high paced action sequences that were played on non linear pattern on screen ,other than that it was a valiant effort. Cinematography was just outstanding and beautifully captured keeping in mind the serenic beauty of Goa in sync with the raunchy night lifestyle.Editing was tightly executed keeping the tempo at the right scale on most occasions. But,the two aspects that really needs the special worth of mentioning was music( including background score too) and fighting choreography.Music was really soothing and refreshing keeping in mind the era of remake and corniest stuff we are presented with.Fighting sequences were perfectly staged and carved out which gave the scenes a more organic look. So guy's if you are planning to catch Malang this weekend or any time soon. Go ahead for it.... won't disappoint you.

Aditya Roy Kapur is intoxicating and not in a bad way. He just levels up as far as his acting is concerned and also from alcohol to drugs. I’ve always trusted him when it comes to emotional scenes, but in this one, he just strengthens my trust when it comes to being a badass. His robust physique is not the only thing showcasing the efforts he has put in the film. From subtle stubble to thick-beard, Aditya’s face is a perfect fit for the various beard-styles catalogue. Disha Patani gets out of the shell and how? She has already got the looks working for her but this one’s special. She gets the scope to act & she does it pretty well. Still, a long way to go but she had to start somewhere. It’s been years of seeing Anil Kapoor acting and if you think he’s exhausted with the kind of roles he’s choosing, you need to see this one. A druggie police officer who knows no rule – you can’t take anyone but Anil. He justifies the character apart from a few traits which make him ham. Kunal Kemmu, the lost gem of Bollywood, fulfils mine appetite of wanting him back on screen. He gradually peels off the layers of his character, while exhibiting the depth he has got in his acting. Elli Avrram gets a character that is beautifully designed for her. Apart from her hippie looks, she understands the tonality of her character and never outdoes it. Lastly all said and done, malang takes you from one thrill another without taking much time the fast pace does not miss anything important and manages to narrate intriguing story without making you look at the watch Thanking you
