Just watched the whole season, It's a good season but couldn't beat season 1 because it doesn't have that shock factor which was there in season 1 finale. Still a very good season. Beautifully written, interesting dynamics between characters. Some plot like Shabnam and Guddu's love story and JP yadav's some scenes could have been avoided. It just stretches the length of the show and makes it a bit of a drag between episode 6 and 8.
New entries like Sharad Shukla is very interesting to watch. Madhuri is also a very interesting character and the Tyagi family from Bihar is also interesting. All three roles are played very well especially Vijay Varma is really impressive in his double role. Robin is the most interesting character introduced this season, he is both mysterious and very funny. Old characters are just as awesome. Pankaj Tripathi is clearly the best while Divyendu and Ali Fazal are very exciting to watch. Every actor has given a top notch performance.
Climax makes up for any thing you might not find interesting this season. Very excited for next season.

Guns, goons and lots of gaalis - welcome to ‘Mirzapur’, once again. Everyone’s packing heat, human life has no value and abject lawlessness is the accepted world order. Nothing has changed here. Except the rising body count that has intensified the battle lines in this bloody badland. And as always, Munna (Divyendu Sharma) is at the center of all the killings that have become an all familiar calling card for ‘Mirzapur’. Of course, a lot of these killings are as shocking as they are needless, making us wonder if they could have been avoided altogether.

The wait is over. Mirzapur season 2 has released with 10 episodes. The title of each episode is quite interesting and thrilling. However, the first season seems to be better somewhere. Just how awful the greed for the throne can be when you watch this web series - it's like the enemy of that house is horrible. Dialogs, acting, bullying, slang language - everything in this series is quite impressive. My Verdict : 1. Story: 4/5 2. Characters: 4.2/5 3. Acting: 4/5 4. Visuals: 3.5/5 5. Directions: 3.8/5 Directed by:- Karan Anshuman, Gurmmeet Singh Duration:- Approx 60 min (each episode) Genre:- Action, Crime Language:- Hindi Directed by

Story line is quite predictable and fails to give any adrenaline rush. Acting wise all the actors have done justice to their roles. I was expecting it to be some where near "Sacred Games" but it's not even close to it. There are not much amazing dialogues as it could have been. Needlessly there is too much of exaggeration and at the end it fails to keep the momentum up for the next season.

I had high expectations with this season but it disappointed me. Barring first few episodes others were just too mediocre. If the makers wanted to go ahead with such poor story it could have been released pretty early. The season was overhyped and nothing else. The only performance that you will like is of Pankaj Tripathi, he just carries this season alone on his shoulders.

Extremely well made and beautifully acted episode!! Munna and Guddu OP in particular. The tone has changed from last season momentously and its well appreciated. There are still the sarcastic and dry splashes of humors expected from Mirzapur but the somber and realistic tone and pacing are all changes for the better.

Lime posted a review for Mirzapur Season 2 (Web Series 2020) in Movies
It seems anyone can make a webseries just by making a cocktail of bad language, vulgar scenes and brutality. Mirzapur has done exactly that. There is absolutely no strength in the story and no sense in the ending. Just because Sacred Games was such a hit, people think any Tom, dick and Harry is as good as Anurag Kashyap but that's clearly not true. The only thing that helped sell this series was the cast and the acting skills of Ali Fazal and Pankaj Tripathi.

Mirzapur is fabulous in many ways . Screenplay is gritty and tension filled, Editing is crisp. Direction is first rate . Whole web series has earthy feeling with local dialogue. Pankaj Tripathi is fabulous he is so underrated deserves more screen space in Bollywood . Vikrant Messi is dependable but the real revelation of mirzapur is ali fazal and devendu singh. as hot headed son of kalim bhaiya devendu has amazing screen presence. I feel Bollywood will notice immense talent of this actor. Ali fazal mostly played urban guy with comic touch till now. Mirzapur gave him chance to play gangster first time, ali catch up and perform brilliantly as series progresses . Politician yadavji and lawyer pandeyji is first rate and add immense value to series. More of such series need to be made watched and appreciated.

Guns and Goons - Welcome to Mirzapur once Again !! Nothing has changed in here , except the rising body count and lawlessness. As always , Munna is always as the wild fire who does brutal killings as he's the center of killing in Mirzapur. If you have seen season 1 and enjoyed it's wild dark narrative then the new season definitely ups the ante. Pankaj Tripathi leads the show asusual with his stotic expressions. Pankaj has innate quality of owning his character with a natural charm like no other. with a more subdued tone , Guddu's track also tends to drag at times. The shows cast is well lit with strong performances like Dibyendu Bhattacharya , Anjum Sharma and Rajesh Tailang. This season gives women more scope . Some are seething with anger while others are toeing the line. Mirzapur 2 has that killer combination of power and political that largely works , but is not bulletproof to flaws. It fires in rightful direction with tales of intense rivalries.

Robi posted a review for Mirzapur Season 2 (Web Series 2020) in Movies
Finally, that day came. My listener friends are reading right - we have been waiting for this day for almost 2 years. Mirzapur Season 2 has released with 10 episodes this October 2020. The title of each episode are quite interesting. The episodes are - a. Dhenkul b. Khargosh c. Viklaang Quota d. Bhaymukt e. Langda f. Ankush g. Ood Bilaav h. Chauchak i. Butterscotch j. King of Mirzapur The old story that has not changed, the mafia, the grandfathering, the blasphemy - everything starts the old story anew. However, this time the tendency to take revenge is a little more. To see who kills whom and when. The dialogue is quite good. There is suspense. But a little more action with romance would have been a little better. Although it is my own opinion. Overall the story is pretty good. Directed by: Karan Anshuman, Gurmmeet Singh Duration: Each episode is about 50 to 60 minutes long Genre: Action, Crime Language: Hindi Rating: 18+ Release date: 23/10/2020 Cast: Pankaj Tripathi, Divyendu Sharma, Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi, Kulbhushan, Rasika, Rajesh Tailang & many more. My Verdict: Plot - 4/5 Soundtrack - 4/5 Characters - 4/5 Directions - 4/5

Agrippa posted a review for Mirzapur Season 2 (Web Series 2020) in Movies
The first two episodes are understandably slow, considering that the characters are still learning to cope with the wedding massacre. But till the end of 10 episodes the same pace continues. One is just waiting for it to end. Audience will miss Bablu Pandit (Vikrant Massey) and Compounder’s (Abhishek Banerjee)powerful performances in season 2. The worst part is that the climax is predicable, and it leaves one praying that there is no season 3 that follows.

It's just unexplainable. Mirzapur is a 9 episode webseries based in the Mirzapur itself. The story of the 1st season was more eye catching and more enjoyable than the 2nd season . But the characters were just awesome . The wait for the season 2 of Mirzapur was more than anything but the story end of series just increased the length to create season 3. The series was funny ,aggresive. Overall it was fun watching the most hyped webseries.

There are some webseries which we watch for enjoyment and some of them are exceptionally good. Mirzapur is a webseries just like that which has created so much hype that we didn't experience in these times. Acting of the stars were great in the 1st season only and when the date was released I can't wait for the season 2. I would suggest every viewer of the season 1 and to the ones also who didn't watched it to have a watch at it.

The most awaited series Mirzapur 2. The actor kaleen bhaiya, muna bhaiya and guddu pandit played awesome role. The casting and plot is very good. It's new season takes the story forward as the fight to become the king of Mirzapur continues between Guddu Pandit and Munna Bhaiya. The second season looks a lot more intense, action-packed and bloody. Mirzapur season one received mixed reviews, however, the audience lapped it up.

Ashutosh posted a review for Mirzapur Season 2 (Web Series 2020) in Movies
In Mirzapur 2, violence and bloodshed is at its peak with revenge, lust for power and greed echoing in every heart. Pankaj Tripathi aka Kaleen Bhaiya and Ali Fazal aka Guddu Pandit are at the centre of this world. Who will survive and who will lose? ''Jeet ki guarantee tabhi hai jab jeet aur haar, dono tumhare control mein ho," says a character in Mirzapur 2, a new but important addition to the cast this season. The show is now available for viewing on Amazon Prime Video and seems to live up to the hype. It has been two years since we saw Akhandanand Tripathi aka Kaleen Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi) massacre anybody who crosses his path. And in Season 2, he vows to make his son, Munna (Divyendu Sharmaa) capable of carrying forward his legacy and ruling the city. Then there is Guddu Pandit (Ali Fazal), who is healing from past wounds, both emotional and physical. His sister, Dimpy (Harshita Gaur) and Golu (Shweta Tripathi), the love interest of his dead brother Bablu (Vikrant Massey), heal him and prepare him for the ultimate fight. But the Dimpy and Golu of Mirzapur 2 are nothing like that of Season 1. Gone are the days when their world was limited to college elections, dates or attending a friend’s wedding. Guns have replaced bangles and blood has replaced lipstick. The bloody world of Mirzapur seems to be bloodier in the second season, with revenge, lust for power, and greed echoing in every heart. Be it a politician who is looking forward to inaugurating a park that has his party symbol, mangoes, at the centre or a man who never wanted the life he lives but is forced into it after his father was killed in broad daylight, the second season appears to be much more ruthless. Along with violence, however, our characters are keen on using their brains too and the relationship dynamics are witnessing a major shift. While Golu and Sweety’s father, Parshuram Gupta, was Kaleen Bhaiya’s lapdog in the last season, they have to look for a new one this time. And with Compounder and almost all of his friends gone, Munna has nobody to rely on but his father. Then there is Beena (Rasika Dugal) and her ‘father-in-law’, who tells her “Sher ke mooh khoon lag chuka hai.” The star of the first two episodes remains Pankaj Tripathi. He talks more with his eyes than his mouth and doesn’t shy away from telling the Chief Minister that his brother is an utter moron. Of course, Kaleen Bhaiya didn’t exactly use the word ‘moron’, but if you watched the previous season, it won’t be hard to guess what he might have said. He is a delight to watch and there is nobody who could’ve played the character with such poise. Ali Fazal is more menacing this season with his pumped-up body and fierce eyes. He can barely walk after last season’s events but is like a wounded lion, ready to pounce on his prey whenever he gets the chance. Shweta Tripathi and Harshita Gaur leave us intrigued and have a lot more to do this season, compared to the last one. Divyendu Sharmaa entertains as well as terrifies us and plays the perfect son to Tripathi. Sheeba Chaddha and Rajesh Tailang reprise their roles as Vasudha and Ramakant Pandit, respectively and leave us teary-eyed in Episode 2. We are taken beyond Mirzapur in the second season. The show takes us as far as Lucknow, where the CM has an ‘aam darbar’ and listens to common people’s problems just before the elections. The maps are laid out, the soldiers are ready, and the planning has begun. Who will sit on the throne and who will lose? Watch the show to find out.
