A decent movie based on true events but more of fiction as its disclamimer suggests. Good bgm and overall score of the movie. Abhishek Bachan though playing himself and not Harshad Mehta has managed a very good performance. 2nd half a bit thrilling. Appreciation to the writers for some new turns given to the story. Direction by Kookie Gulati is very unique. The narration seems a bit more at pace. The overall scam is explained in the simpleest manner possible, so that a layman could understand it. Impressed by Sohum Shah s performance, new angle of the the character to be discovered in the film. Decently good film. Dont compare it with1992 Scam. That was a long detailed narration of the harshad mehta story. This is a short and new variant of the same story. A bit lenghty. And ofc if they would have got the rights for the original names and shares it would be more fun. Also, this version of harshad mehta refrred to as hemant shah in the film feels more villanious, it showcases the vices of Harshad Mehta quite well. Although his evil laugh is quite irritating. But the egoistic behavior is portrayed quite well.

It was seriously awesome. Abhishek Bachchan really played the role extremely well. The story was awesome. I won't go to the depth of saying political system was involved or not, but I really enjoyed the film a lot. The role of Hemant, his wife, his brother and the reporter(Ileana) were beautifully portrayed. Do watch as this is really a good film.

Firstly I would like to say that the negative comments made by people in this movie are just because they don't see Abhishek Bachchan as a potential actor. This movie was AMAZING. No one could have been in this role better than Abhishek bacchan. The hysterical laughs and behaviour of Harshad Mehta were brilliantly portrayed. This movie deserves recognition. Many won't be able to understand it properly for it involves tremendous analytical understanding skills. But if you watch the move carefully, following all its details, you will get to know that it is excellent. Fantastic performance by all cast members.

The best movie of Abhishek Bachchan till date. He did a fantastic job. Also, the music is very up to the mark and specially the title track gave me goosebumps. People are not liking the movie mainly because they have watched Scam 1992, which was one of the best web series till date but we also need to keep in mind that Scam 1992 was a web series of more than 8 hours but The bug bull is a 2.5 hour long movie and hence it is not possible to show each and every thing in detail.

Abhishek Bachchan plays the protagonist who amasses millions through his acumen in stock market and also his manipulation of the rules of the banking systems. He definitely has got under the skin of the character including the demeanor and mannerisms. His performance is the redeeming feature of the film. The film itself remains largely just above the average, the treatment by the director barely rising above the mundane. The narrative lacks pace and liveliness. Even the exciting bits do not impress. The supporting actors in this film have not been able to make any impression. The dialogue lacks punch.

Amazing movie. Abhishek was and is the best. Such a classic actor. It's sad to see how people are comparing this movie with Scam 1992. The movie might be shadowed by the series Scam 1992 and most reviews seen are in comparison. Keeping oneself unbiased, on watching this movie it seems enjoyable. It's pretty fictionalized but most important facts are retained. May be the depths couldn't be reached because a movie has very little time to show the lifetime of a person who's done so much in his life. The Big Bull movie is an out-and-out success as a biopic on Harshad Mehta's life.

Simple review : If you have already watched Scam 1992 , Skip this. If not , It would be better to watch Scam 1992. Coming to abhishek bachhan , his acting looks convincing but the story let's him down. The writer of the film was failed to curate each scene in a detailed manner. Ileana D'Cruz hardly gets any chance in the first half but shines in the second half of the movie. Music is not so bad but ok.
