I usually fall asleep during kid movies and as I watched I couldn't fall asleep and stayed awake the whole movie. There were many times I was laughing along with my child and even unexpected moments. The movie had a new story not just a copy of the first. The animation and colors used for scenes were just as great as the first no cutting corners for this movie. I loved the Thunder Sister and gran's hair. Everyone will love this movie its a wonderful distraction from the pandemic

This movie was fantastic, I bought it to watch with my friends in college and we were all laughing hysterically at the clever jokes throughout the movie. Kids will catch most of the jokes, Adults will catch even more that will convince you that this film is golden and meant for the ages. It was compelling enough that we were all moved by the animations of the characters and the voices of the actors. It was beautifully cast for the voice actors and could not have been done better.

This movie is brilliant fun for the whole family. The characters are great and each one has there own weird and wonderful personality which was written extremely well. The storyline was well put together and it doesn't getting boring from beginning to end. The animation looks brilliant and the attention to detail is definitely noticed. There isn't really a fault with the movie. It reminded a lot like the Incredibles which also was a great movie. It's not very often that I can't find a fault with a movie, so this is definitely recommend for the whole family.

The Croods is a really good animated movie that's extremely colorful and fun even if some of the Croods are a little annoying at times. Nicolas Cage, Emma Stone, Katherine Keener and Ryan Reynolds are all great. It's funny throughout even if some jokes don't land. The animation is amazing and the direction by Chris Sanders and Kirk DeMicco is really good. The music by Alan Silversti is also great.

This movie was so good. An amazing sequel to the first one. Filled with amazing animation, hilarious jokes, and amazing voice acting. Hoping a third movie gets into production! Highly recommend for the family, but also extremely enjoyable for adults. Wholesome movie with lots of adventure.

It's heart-warming, laugh-out-loud-funny, and the animation is jaw-dropping amazing. My only one teensie-weensie issue is that they animators should have covered up the teenage daughter a bit more. She never behaved inappropriately but she showed too much skin. Other than that, I give this movie two thumbs up!

My family and I watched this movie and fell in love with it. It has comedy, romance, betrayal. It was just a fantastic movie, it even made cry on some parts, I won't mention that parts because I don't like spoiling movies for people. But trust me overall this movie is really amazing. All my love to the producers, voice actors, and the other important people that helped create this amazing movie.

"The Croods: A New Age" is a lovely animated film, funny for the children and with positive messages for an adult audience as parents relationship with their children, feminism or even open the eyes about the awful current administration in The United States, obviously set in the prehistoric ages. The characters are funny, the animation is beautiful, totally colorful, the script is entertaining telling us a story about tolerance and how differences between people is something special that we can learn about them. This sequel is better than the first film.

Ester posted a review for The Croods: A New Age (2020) in Movies

I liked the movie, I thought it was funny and has humor in it that everyone of all ages can enjoy, just an overall good movie. The plot is good and not confusing. I would rate it an 8/10 but there was just a lot of forced humor and it was kind of strange at the end. The story line was a little off from the first movie but I think that is fine because it was just little things. Definitely not as good as the first movie just because the end almost ruined the whole movie for me, it was extremely cheesy, but that is just my opinion, I am sure that if I were a child I would say differently.I liked the humor in this film, I was laughing pretty much the whole way through it. I liked the plot and how the Bettermans and the Croods have to eventually work as a team. I liked some of the modern references and how they took modern stuff and old caveman stuff and combined it to make an excellent movie.

This movie is spectacular with amazing set pieces, delightful colors and creatures it doesn't matter how old you are you can't take your eyes away from it. if you enjoyed the first movie, you will definitely love this one and obviously the animation is better especially the facial expressions of the characters are very unique. The cast is very funny especially Emma Stone and Nicolas Cage even though their characters weren't developed from the first one but they still very charming. The story is very simple as expected from a DreamWorks movie but the well designed action and the chemistry between the characters were good enough to keep you invested. I had so much fun watching this movie with my family I recommend watching it on a big screen if you can't catch it in the theater.

The croods is pure fun.., witty and the entire cast of voices stands out - specially Peter Dinklage, Ryan Reynolds and Lesliemann. Even though the story feels unoriginal.., a family centered film is always nice. It is emotional, funny, and season-appropriate...When your watching a movie, you know you just watched a damn good film...Can’t wait for the 3rd !

Ujjwal posted a review for The Croods: A New Age (2020) in Movies

This movie was SO over the top and took itself WAY too seriously... and I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT! My family watched the first one the night before we saw the new one, and this really helped us get ready for the slapstick humor and complete ridiculousness of the movie. I got every joke and even though it was predictable, the way that the movie ran made it okay. A few months ago, I started getting into 3d animation, and man is it complicated. Obviously these huge companies have an easier time of it, but they were able to take the more polygonal shapes from the first one and add better effects to make it seem more realistic, while still in that world. The actors were on point. Everyone in the cast nailed their parts, and I still think Ryan Reynold’s Guy was the best character in the movie. All in all, You should DEFINITELY watch this movie, just make sure that you go expecting to have fun and just laugh and go along with it.

That’s just as true with the sequel. “The Croods: A New Age” has some of the derivative limitations of the first film — the faint whiff of riding “Ice Age’s” coattails. But the players make their slapsticking, pratfalling, punking and pranking characters breathe, live, love and care.

Riju posted a review for The Croods: A New Age (2020) in Movies

Waiting for this kind of movie for a long time with deep interest. And finally that wait is over. This movie is made with animation, adventure, comedy. As much as I was overwhelmed by the previous part, the second is just as good. This time the story is a little different - the prehistoric Crood family has been looking for a place to live for a long time. And finally they are able to discover a walled paradise where all their needs will be met. Nicolas Cage in terms of voice, Emma Stone's voice is worth remembering. And what more can I say about animation - if you don't see it, it can't be explained. Like enjoying the movie in all aspects. Directed by : Joel Crawford Duration : 1 hour 35 min Genre : Animation, Comedy, Adventure Rating : PG

I saw this in the theater with kids ages 7, 6, 4 and 3. I loved it. It actually had me laughing out loud in parts. Lots of older kid and very tame adult humor. The film grabs you as early as the action-packed opening hunt sequence with a quick character introduction along with a gander at other prehistoric creatures that could only have come out of someone's imagination.
