Movie was engaging in intervals but Parineeti is a treat to the eyes. The emotions portrayed come off as genuine and absorb you into the proceedings quite effectively. It was the same story we have seen earlier. the movie will be really amazing for viewers who haven't watched the Hollywood adaptation of the book but it was a great plot twist at the end which no one was expecting.

The way director Ribhu Dasgupta played with the two female leads in the film is simply commendable. Every character Ribhu has written is layered. I loved how he played with the opposing worlds Mira and Nusrat. A few scenes are exceptional and it took me to an intense level of engagement while watching the film.

The Girl On The Train is a decent attempt at best. Those who have the original will be in for a surprise as there are a lot of changes and newer characters and plot points. 1st half is fine and from start to finish, the pace is quick. From the start to the ending i could not take my eyes away from the movie. I was in some sort of trance. I could feel the pain that the characters felt. I was blown away how the movie was construed.

Bad performances by the whole cast, but a special mention regarding the insanely bad acting of Parineeti Chopra. Her dialogue delivery was laughable through out, and especially during the intense scenes it started looking a bit like a parody. Her acting is equally bad. The make up department has to take the cake for making her look like a cheap Barbie vamp. She should not do any portrayals of being drunk, it looks like an 8 year old boy's take on being under the influence of alcohol. The plot makes neither any sense not it explains simple details like why is she even on the train daily. Neither do the songs make any sense.

This is based on a brilliant novel. This was made into a movie in Hollywood again a well shot movie that was. So, you have the book and a movie as your reference, then what went wrong while remaking it? The entire plot has not only been twisted but quite messed up!! Added, what is the need to make everything Bollywood? The songs in this movie adds to the disaster. This is a serious plot and should have been maintained that way. The acting is quite terrible and mind-bogglingly painful to watch.

I had high hopes for this film adaptation of the incredible novel. However this film was extremely poor!! I had to give up halfway. This is the first time I've watched a film with Parineeta Chopra, and I don't think I'll ever put myself through watching a film of hers again, her acting is atrocious, trying too hard to be dramatic and really overplaying her scenes. The rest is f the cast are extremely bland and don't do their characters any justice. What a wasted opportunity of what could've been a great telling of the story, even with a good budget and a satisfactory London backdrop this film fails throughout. I thought Hindi thrillers were getting better.

A Poor remake. For a a film that is supposed to be a thriller it totally lacks tension, this is not helped by the lack of pace. The film is too slow. The acting was unconvincing. Kirti Kulhari as the police inspector is particularly poor. Pariniti Chopra was not much better. They want you to feel sorry for her character which does not work. Without revealing too much the ending really let's the film down. It should have stuck closer too the Hollywood original.

Well, having read the book and watched the Emily blunt movie, I was quite excited to watch this Bollywood version of the story. Trailer looked good but the movie is okay. I mean they failed to progress the story. Scenes were haphazard. I could say editing was a little poor. Overall Parineeti's acting was good. The character has many shades in itself. But her job was comendable. Aditi rao hydari's acting was ok, I mean there wasn't much scope for her. But in the book, all the characters had some story, here the character of Shekhar's second wife was completely sidelined.They changed the story to a great extend though. Also it made no sense depicting all Indian characters in a UK backdrop. Must have been more appealing and connecting to Bollywood audience if the story was based in India.

If you did not read the book or watch old one, it's worth watching. All characters are clearly flawed, Parineeti Chopra, Kriti kulhari and aditi rao all did great effort to make it beautiful even i would say all the team including makeup artists did a great job. people who watched old one will obviously compare with Emily blunt's flawless alcoholic woman performance and end of the movie. but it's difficult to portrait same plot with same taste to Indian mass. I personally don't like the story of both of them this one she is a lawyer at starting and end of the movie(climax) is different, maybe they want to make it interesting at the end because old one you can assume who will be the killer after watching half the movie.

This movie is basically teaching us that you should not trust anybody by their current behavior and do not fall in love with some bad person which is going to stepped you. The great thrill and mystery will be good for any thriller movie lover . The touch of time showing in the movie will thrill you as well . At the end you will be pretty amazed by the mystery and time cycle shown in the movie. Parineeti has done wonderful job because in entire movie she looks like an alcoholic person .Eventually you will find out why she became that.

Just watched the movie The girl on the train and without any doubt it's good as I thought it would be. The movie starring Parineeti Chopra who doesn't remember anything from her past and the incidents which happened to her but she has to go through the charges of crime which she didn't remember. The movie is a drama type mostly thriller we can say . The cinematography is good and the visuals and sound are also upto the mark. It's a must watch movie .

Crime, drama, mystery, thriller - this movie is a must see if anyone wants to enjoy together. The movie name is The Girl on the Train and the director is Ribhu Dasgupta. Parineeti Chopra's performance is like watching. There is more than just murder mystery in this story, there are many other things like - betrayal, love, revenge etc. This film is seriously for them who deserves to be watched. Finally Parineeti Chopra is back on the big screeen with her big awaited movie. Movie The girl on the train is a drama,thriller movie mainly revolving around the main cast Parineeti and her life . The plot of the movie is quite exciting and interesting . What i really loved is the thriller and the story exchange. The featuring of characters just thrilled me at some part. Overall the movie is worth watching and I would rate it 4 out of 5.

I was not a big fan of Parineeti untill I watched this film. It starts with the flashback of Parineeti's perfect life which was ruined by some reasons...She entirely blames herself for being into the drastic situation and becomes alchoholic untill she realises "Not always what we see is the reality". Parallely the story of her being connected with a murder is shown where she don't remember if she has really committed the crime of killing the girl to whom she always stalk due to her earlier perfect life resemblance. This is not just a murder mystery..It's a story of revenge,love, betrayal and falling and recollecting oneself back from bad times. This deserves to be watched atleast once. Go for it.

Just watched this mystery and thriller packed movie. The trailer was not so interesting but the movie is unique and this is little bit different from the Hollywood one which stared Emily blunt in lead. And this one starring Parineeti Chopra in lead is wonderful and the Hollywood one was also excellent. The songs are really good and the cinematography, background score is really great. The song matlabi yaariyan is my favourite. The performances of Parineeti mam is brilliant, Aditi mam acting is also nice and kirti kulhari is looking great in cop. Well the acting of Avinash Tiwary is also great. Overall it is a must watch because of thriller, plot twist,suspense till the end and performance of the cast.

Eventually director Ribhu Dasgupta returned. The name of the movie is a bit like that-The Girl on the Train. The story seems strange but not boring. There is a character named Mira Kapoor in the story who suffers from amnesia but has to make a train journey every day. Based on the 2016 Hollywood film of the same name, which in turn, was adapted from Paula Hawkins’s bestselling novel. The Hindi remake is not a scene-by-scene remake of the Emily Blunt-starrer and the makers have added new characters and plot points, which would surprise those who have seen the original. It is an average fare. It impresses due to the fast-paced narrative and performances, especially of Parineeti Chopra. But the lack of character development and flawed climax proves detrimental. After seeing it I think orginal Hollywood movie which is based on the book was slightly better than what i thought of it.
