Prudvi posted a review for Dolittle in Movies
Coming to the Plot, Dr. John Dolittle (Robert Downey Jr.) lives in solitude behind the high walls of his lush manor in 19th-century England. His only companionship comes from an array of exotic animals that he speaks to on a daily basis. But when young Queen Victoria (Jessie Buckley) becomes gravely ill, the eccentric doctor and his furry friends embark on an epic adventure to a mythical island to find the cure. To summarise , i would say its a one time watch for our iron man aka Sherlock aka Robert Downey Jr fans.

Prudvi posted a review for Bad Boys For Life in Movies
To start with, Almost 17 years after taking down a Cuban drug lord, Marcus Burnett (Lawrence) leads a peaceful family life. But horrors of the past haunt his partner Mike Lowrey (Smith), who must do whatever it takes to protect himself and take down a drug cartel. The plot of 'Bad Boys For Life' is simple and centres around the Miami police department and its elite AMMO team’s challenge to take down Armando Armas (Jacob Scipio), the young leader of a Mexican drug cartel. Mexican-American actress Kate del Castillo, playing the character of Isabel Aretas, is impressive as the widow of a deceased drug kingpin and Armando’s mother, who calls the shots in this action-comedy.

Prudvi posted a review for Chhapaak in Movies
The story of pretty teenager Laxmi Agarwal, whose face was ruined by acid flung by a much older spurned suitor, made headlines. What made her different from so many others was that she refused to let it ruin her life. Instead of cowering in fear and shame, something victims of any kind of violence tend to veer towards, she fought back. It was a long, hard fight, in hospitals and court-rooms, punctuated by a series of painful face-reconstructing surgeries. She refused to stay hidden, building herself back bit by bit while speaking up for herself, and others in the same circumstances. It is that inspiring story that Meghna recreates, with some embellishments, of course, through Deepika Padukone’s Malti. If the star had played it like a vanity project, there would have been no film. But Chhapaak scores because she comes through with a solid, realised performance. It is not just putting the focus on the ravaged-skin-with a missing ear-and-nostril, but reflecting a mix of pain, anger, resignation, and finally, arriving at some kind of resolution.

Prudvi posted a review for 1917 in Movies
In line with recent films on war, 1917 is not celebration of valour or glory, neither is it shy in its portrayal of the grime of it. These two young men are scared to their bones. The film suggests at both: their redemption in having a measurable, if minute, goal, amidst thousands dying pointlessly; as well as how non-consequent they must be for being the ones chosen for it. Lance Corporals Blake (Chapman) and Schofield (MacKay) must cross no-man’s land, boobytrapped with trip wires and trenches, with enemy planes flying overhead, to deliver a message to the English front-line to call off a planned assault against German troops. They must push ahead at all costs, as hours are ticking. Blake is chosen as his elder brother’s life is at stake. Schofield, a friend, happens to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Prudvi posted a review for Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker in Movies
Star Wars: Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker is the ninth and final film in the four-decade-long Skywalker saga (and the third installment in the current trilogy). Following the events of Episode VIII: The Last Jedi, the film focuses on the battle between the villainous First Order, led by Supreme Leader Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), and the virtuous Resistance fighters, embodied by the last Jedi, Rey (Daisy Ridley). Everything is on the line in this installment, which means the sci-fi action violence is ratcheted up a notch: You can expect even more major space battles, high-stakes destruction, tense chases/crashes, peril, injury, and fierce lightsaber duels (plus blasters, arrows, cannons, and other weapons). This movie feels a little more intense/darker than the previous two in this trilogy, with creepy villains/locations and a few explicit (but not bloody) deaths, including a beheading, a point-blank execution, and a body crumbling to bits. Spoiler alert: Several primary and supporting characters are killed, and a few of those deaths will be extra emotional for audiences.
