The animated Lion King was a once-in-a-lifetime film, heart, humor, shock, sadness and hope. The animations were so beautiful. All the animals throughout the film look amazingly detailed and will definitely amaze everyone watching it. The voice acting has it's ups and downs, the voice actors for Cub Simba, Mufasa, Zazu, Timon, and Pumba really steal the show. But other's like Older Simba, Nala, Scar, Rafiki are just kinda there. the film's story and music are phenomenal, but the original Lion King had already made those.
Samuel L. Jackson shows that he is still the King of the sardonic, self-mocking, dramatic flair. This film mercilessly mocks the banality of bigotry whilst offering well-placed nuggets of wisdom about the redemptive power of duty in the oddest of places. And it does all this without a single drop of sanctimonious piety. Bold stuff. Not surprisingly, all that flew right over the heads of today's pompous one-dimensional film critics. So glad audiences are ignoring the critics and grinning from ear to ear as they leave the cinemas glad for some brazen iconoclasm. Good riddance to overbearing artistic gatekeeping! Go see it for yourself!
It is more reboot rather than a sequel.Overall I’d say the movie is very enjoyable. Yes, no one can beat Will Smith’s performance from previous films, but sometimes change is a good thing. Whatever they have shown in the film (although clichés) never bored me. It kinda keeps you hooked onto the storyline. Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson combination is great. But Liam Neeson could have got more screentime. Dont know if there is another sequel, but the ENDING DIDN'T give me that HOPE or hype for another one.
Super 30 is really amazing, it does tremendous justice to the story, there is no unnecessary romance or deviation from the story. Hrithik Roshan has done a lot of justice to the character, he has completely transformed into Mr.Anand Kumar. Though Hrithik is not his attractive self, he is charming in a different way. He literally brought tears in my eyes in one of his scenes and it is just not because I'm a huge fan but also for the performance, that was extremely overwhelming. It's definitely worth watching and the movie brings the value of great teachers back in our lives, filling us with memories of our own teacher-student experiences.
Hard hitting Sad that it is still happening. Is it the maturity of our political class ( I wonder) that they have not started blaming the issue on modi's five years. All actors have done a Fab job.. film holds you till end and deals with shocking incidents which happened few years back. Good direction, story, plot. Excellent cinematography. Effective background sound. Jeshan Quadri also looks impressive as Chandrashekhar of Bheem Army.
