Khirthi posted a review for Physical (Single) in Music
The music video honestly got me confused, but I still loved it because it waa colorful and had that anime part. Dua Lipa shows through her Future Nostalgia songs is that pop music can have any meaning and doesnt need to have that too serious tone in order to be enjoyable. You choose the aesthetic you want. The one that feels personal to the artist. The one that is the artists' own style. Sure, you can change your aesthetic but as long you have the neutral but powerful point of view, you can PULL IT OFF! (Or that you have a silly pov as long its powerful or just have a harsh one and have some powerful thought. But to me, Lipa did the positibe neutral one.) Dua Lipa did it, so can many pop artists. That's what I hope for 2020. That pop has different aesthetics towards each other and it shows something powerful to the topic. I want this in many other popular pop artists. With Dua Lipa pulling this off, I have hope.

Khirthi posted a review for Love Aaj Kal in Movies
The movie is great! Infact it's really good!! Especially the old school romance! The entire past sequence will really take you away from all your present problems and you will fall in love with the entire sequence! The meetings, the train sequence! The line : " tum jitne khud ke bhi nahi ho utne mere ho raghu " and Randeep Hooda though played a short role has my heart! No one could do his role better than him!! Totally in love with Randeep Hooda ??Kartik did an amazing job! The movie has a special essence a surreal feeling which people need to spend time and search in the movie! If u understand that special feeling of the movie you will definitely love the movie! It's not a normal love story neither does the movie focus on Kartik and Saras chemistry but focuses on the realities of a relationship people face ! Fact of life is I don't understand why are people continuesly comparing it with the earlier Love Aaj Kal! I know that it's a similar concept but it's a story on love of today's and 90s. For eg : A teenager will not understand the earlier Love Aaj kal but will probably more relate to this one. Thus I feel it should be seen as an individual film! Apart from that Imtiaz Ali films always have great music andShayad has my heart, the songs are definitely amazing!! Also debutant Arushi Sharma did a superb job!! She is amazing at her work and too pretty! She does everything very effortlessly I mean please tell me which modern day actress would slay in a plait and still look pretty enough to fall in love with!! Love Aaj Kal is really nice , please watch it do not get confused by the bad reviews!

Khirthi posted a review for Sonic The Hedgehog in Movies
I don't know what the critics were smoking but this movie is an absolute must watch! It was very funny through and through with enough backstory and sad moments to make you really feel for the character Sonic without making it into an overbearing "OKAY! WE GOT IT! HE'S LONELY!" situation. Ben Schwartz did a great job at personifying the voice of Sonic as a rambunctious teenager who has lived life (literally) in the fast lane and the various scenes portray. The humor is great for both adults (who will catch some adult jokes) and for younger audiences who enjoy random moments of slapstick, fart jokes and even more mature humor. Jim Carey was an amazing Dr. Robotnik and really put a personal spin on the maniacal bad guy. You understood where Robotnik came from and eventually why he has it out for Sonic (as well as how he got to be a human in Sonic's original world). Near the end, Carey does a Robotnik voice that is SO exact from the various cartoons and games you can almost fully witness his transformation into Eggman. The way the rings came into play was great as well, very reminiscent of the ring portals used to warp Sonic to special stages in many games. I'm really looking forward to the sequel(s?) to come! Do yourself a favor and flip off a "movie critic" and go see this movie either for yourself as a Sonic fan or with family just to get away and see a funny, non-stop entertaining film. You definitely won't be disappointed, especially with the new Sonic design that actually looks like the iconic character and not some Deviant Art abomination

Khirthi posted a review for The Gentlemen in Movies
Guy Ritchie has taken it back to his award winning, blockbuster recipe. Walking out of the cinema I said to my wife that, I remember when people used to ask me who my favourite director was and without flinching I would say Guy Richie, then over time, with embarrassing releases like King Arthur and Robin Hood, I started finding myself deflecting the question. After this film, I think I can proudly say his name. Guy's Back Baby! I don't think I can fault it. The dialogue, the acting, the cast, the action and gritty British humour which is its best. This movie was pure entertainment - just reminded me why Dark Comedies are my favourite Genre.

Khirthi posted a review for Panga in Movies
I specially would like to Say one thing in the beginning "Self Reflection is Very Important in everyone's Life". It's not necessary that there must be another villain in our life, it might be our own will power who plays the villain in every circumstances. I have seen a lot of movies where Relationships (Parents, Husband/Wife, Friends, Relatives, Society, Neighbors and so on..) have been portrayed as a barrier in life, that gives a negative impact. But for the first time in a movie "PANGA" all relationships in Jaya Nigam's life give support and embrace her inspiration as a result she could go ahead with support, That gave me a positive feeling. Direction - Again Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari proved again that she is one of the Best director in the industry... Story, Screenplay and Dialogue - It's an honest story of a mother who dares to challenge herself again after motherhood to find her limits. Story and Screenplay is such balanced it will hold all audience from the beginning till the end. The narration of story will able to bring tears in your eyes. Dialogues are very simple but fit in the story perfectly. I loved the scene where Kangna says a mother must sacrifice her dreams for her child laying bare the reality of Indian mothers who renounce their lives for their children. In Acting Department Of course no doubt, Queen gave her best as always, but supporting cast is also awesome. Specially The kid Yagya Bhasin, Neena Gupta and Richa Chadha did justice to the character, i am in love with the kid character. No extra drama. Songs are good but could have been better. Art Department did perfect job in detail. I will recommend everyone please watch this Film at least once only in Theater With your Family specially with your MOTHER.
