Angrezi Medium only works due to the chemistry of Deepak and Irrfan and the touching moments of the father-daughter relationship. It is an one-time watch movie, but the memorable characters can leave you with goosebumps, every time you watch the movie. I'm damn sure, you will enjoy this movie a lot. Trust me. It's a great movie and it deserves to be watched and to be respected!!
This film deserves a lot more praise than its given. I think people just aren't getting that this is a film you're meant to just sit back and enjoy. The story line is genuinely interesting and full of plots twists. Coming into see the film with no expectations I thought the bad reviews were because it was the typical pro US army/man needs to save wife film but that notion was completely overturned. It has solid an exciting action scenes which are very well choreographed and the shows off some of the best cgi sequence I've come across for a long time that put higher budget films to shame (looking at you black panther). think if this film had been made by marvel/Disney, no one would be bashing it and instead would be praising it.
Oh. my. god! This movie was, IMO, the best movie of 2020 so far! It had everyone in the theatre %100 engaged throughout and there were several moments where you could hear audible gasps from the movie goers lol This film has everything and didn’t leave us wanting, like many other films this year have. Suspense, action, emotion, a few laughs, and plot twists! My only regret is that this film isn’t available to stream yet! One of the few films I would actually pay to go see again!
This movie was amazing, funny, keeps you on a cliff hanger, romance just a bit and lots more. Just as I got out of the cinema after watching the movie I just wanted to go back on and watch it 100 more time it was soo good I really recommend it to anyone who loves to have a laugh
Generally, the horror films have a few hallmarks to effectively scare its audience. These include well-timed jumpscares, an alarming background score, believable computer graphics (CGI) and make-up (wherever required) that makes the characters look genuinely scary. But the make-up here ends up making the characters look unintentionally funny, rather than scary. The film manages to throw in a few terrifying moments while keeping the background score subtle. The CGI often gives away even as the cinematography is consistently dark to create the eerie atmospherics. But all of this is in service of a story that doesn’t stay afloat for long. While the film’s runtime is short, the pace seems exhausting because most of the scenes are concluded abruptly, leaving you waiting for the big reveal. However, the all-important backstory isn’t convincing enough to make your wait worth it. For a horror film, ‘Bhoot Part One the Haunted Ship’ falls short of sending chills down your spine. At best, it can give you a few spooks.
