Great movie.. the movie is a perfect delivery of your childhood wrapped in a new package and I enjoyed each and every moment of the movie. It takes you to Agrabah and keeps you there till the curtains are drawn. Though a remake of its narration is totally keeps the movie alive. The sprit of original movie is boosted by messages about friendship, women empowerment, respect, courage and honesty. This is a perfect movie for kids and their parents as the language used is also fairly acceptable. Thanks to its appealing leads and amazing sound track's ,it makes the movie worth watching. I am happy I staked my childhood memories and watched this movie and which filled with energy left me cheerful.I urge all of you to go watch the movie.

As a huge fan of the origional Aladdin I decided to approach this film with an open mind and think of it as a stand alone. It felt like it had the structure of the original but bits were taken out improved and put back in again. I see this as a good thing and everything a remake should be I enjoyed every single second of the movie. The graphics, the dresses, the colors, the music, the strong nostalgia, the new feminist twist! Gosh! What a movie! Jasmine was by far the most amazing disney princesses in live action and even animation. She is elegant, beautiful, royal, kind but stubborn, ambitious and yes, she won't be silenced. That song "speechless" the way she delivered it gave me goosebumps. Her character was complete within herself. Aladdin didn't need to rescue her. They were a perfect duo. Needless to say, Aladdin was done to a perfection as well. The charm, the dance moves, the singing, the emotions.. all were spot on! Just made me feel all kinds of feelings. I was so sad when the movie ended. We need more movies like this. That remind us of beautiful love, friendship, sacrifice, honor, strength and that women desever their own voice. Genie was hilarious. To be honest, I missed the original Genie a little. But will smith did it his way. And in itself it was amazing. The humour, the facial expressions, the depth of character. I am in love with this amazing adaptation of a timeless classic in need of modern flavour! The changes were seemlessly interwoven into the original movie. It was perfect. Anyone who tells you otherwise just doesn't have any sense of wonder and nostalgia.

Will Smith as Genie did a fantastic job. The story brings the memories of childhood. The director Ritchie did a fabulous job. The film recreates the magical world of Alladin. Visuals are spectacular. Naomi as jasmine looks splendid. The whole cast made this film great. Kudos to the entire team. A must watch film.

Did not disappoint!!! I can only imagine how difficult it would be to bring a Disney movie to life. This was brilliantly done, the colours, the effects, the sounds, the acting was impeccable. Well done to everyone!!! It’s sad hearing all the negativity around such an astounding movie. This movie you should watch it as it's a good one.

Aladdin is a great joyful and magical ride. This Disney's live-action movie is a remake of 1992's classic animated Aladdin. If we compare genie's role of will smith to old Aladdin movie, in start it feels weird but then it's perfectly fitting for his role. Songs are good as always in Disney's film. Mena as Aladdin gave his best. Naomi Scott as jasmine looks charming. Also some message about woman empowerment. This film is a complete family entertaining movie with strong emotions and dazzling funny magical ride.

I went to see this movie a few weeks back, after seeing the Google reviews on here. I hoped I wouldn't be disappointed and thankfully, I wasn't. Aladdin is an exceptionally good film - Mena Massoud and Naomi Scott were perfect as Aladdin and Jasmine, and Will Smith pulls out a fantastic performance as the genie, making the role his own without imitating Robin Williams. Controversial opinion here, but I also liked Marwan Kenzri's performance as Jafar. I'm aware many wanted a more creepy version that is akin to the cartoon, but I felt Kenzari did a fantastic job in portraying a more realistic villain who is unhinged, insecure and power hungry, The whole film looked exquisite, from the costume design to the set pieces, and the songs were brilliantly performed without mimicking the original. There was also some great comic timing from the actors and some scene left feel feeling enthralled. Overall, I felt like this movie paid homage to the original whilst taking some creative licence so it looks and feels fresh. I also loved how they have enhanced the themes of the story, particularly in being truthful and what true friendship and sacrifice is

This movie was great. The singing, the acting and the whole great feeling after and during watching this movie. Will Smith was a great genie- as were the actors playing Aladdin and Princess Jasmine. Our kids grew up on the original Aladdin- this movie live action did more to connect to that movie and more. Again, you will appreciate the acting, music, dancing and crowd celebration scenes in the movie.

Will Smith did a fantastic job as the Genie, subtly changing the character in ways that made it his own. I was so thankful they did not have him do Will Smith doing Robin Williams doing the Genie - that would have been a disaster. Also, the more modern take on Jasmine added to the story.

I did not liked it very much. Maybe that is because I wanted something more similar to the animated series. I had watched animated series as a child and used to love them specially. But here they modernised it. Plus the humour of will Smith as gene was not the humour of original.

Absolutely stunning cinematography, amazing musical numbers, beautiful vocals and show stopping choreography.I was truly transported to a whole new world and all my childhood wishes were fulfilled. Simply put, it made me feel like a child again, it was enchanting and the amount of chills and goosebumps I received cannot be counted. Listen to no critic who cannot find joy because they simply do not want to, and go watch this stunning retelling of a story we all know and love. The cast did the original justice and I left the cinema feeling magical. (Also ignore those who say Will Smith was a bad choice, because he was brilliant and no other actor could have done such a good job. The whole cast was amazing, when l saw the trailer I wasn't sold on Naomi and Mena but they WON ME OVER and now l've found I firmly believe they were born to play Jasmine and Aladdin.) Don't get me started on Naomis beautiful voice, rendered me speechless. Overall it was perfect and Will Smith truly put his own spin onto the genie while still making us remember and love Robin Williams. They were both the perfect genie just different types. The musical scores were amazing and I do not think it could have been remade any better. 5/5 as there was no room for improvement. (Also it's hilarious so if you want a good laugh, go and watch it.)

The original Aladdin is still one of my all-time favourite Disney movies. Everything about it is so much fun to watch. The animation, the music, the comedy, the story, the atmosphere. After seeing the Live-Action Disney remake, I have to say it was mostly lame in comparison. The atmosphere in this one felt like a TV movie for large chunks of it and despite the colours, everything still looked bland and cheap. Aladdin and Jasmine have no chemistry together in this and their acting is pretty bad, and Jafar is now very bland and just a stock villain badguy with very little personality or wit to him. The only character that is passable surprisingly is the Genie, where Will Smith faired better than I initially expected. The closest I got to laughing or finding myself entertained in the movie was whenever he was on screen. I can definitely confidently say Will Smith was the best thing going for the Aladdin remake. The movie is not really shot in any special way, it just feels conventional and nothing about it screams like it's a Guy Ritchie film at all. Just another passable/mediocre Live Action Disney remake movie at best. Why did it need to be 2 hours long I have no idea, but the movie was weak and Will Smith is really the only thing going for it, despite Robin Williams still being far superior in the original. Overall, another "Bleh" Live-Action Disney remake we didn't need at all. Stick with the original Aladdin that has superior effects, acting, jokes, atmosphere, characters, and depth over this nostalgic cashgrab.

I honestly didn't know what I was going into and it was such a delightful surprise! It really exceeded my expectations and I had fun during the whole movie. Critics are really being harsh and I can't believe that beauty and the beast was more critically praised. The movie was so bland and boring while this one has so much energy and life to it. The characters had amazing chemistry with each other and the lines were delivered smoothly. The two things I was worried about that subsided as soon as the movie started are: 1- Jafar's character: Marwan tries his best to make but the material he's given isn't strong enough. I wish they developed his character more. However, I didn't mind the change they did it with his character as it fits more with this version. 2- Cultural representation: The trailers made the movie look like a production from bollywood. Not hating on the Indian culture, but it really annoyed me as Arab to see a Middle Eastern/Arabic folk tale that we all know long before Disney introduced it to the world to be represented in a fully different culture. Fortunately, the movie looks and feels way more Arabian such Arabic writings here and there, hearing some people speaking Arabic briefly, the names and appearance of the people of Agrabah and of course the amazing score! Although there are some slight hints of India/South Asia in the clothing and dancing, but I didn't mind that at all. I would've give it a 5 star if the cinematography was better. This is my only issue with movie as it looked like high budget TV soap opera in some scenes. Don't miss on this one! You'll have fun.

Ultimately, Disney's Aladdin is not a perfect movie. However, the film does hit all the right notes when it comes to nostalgia and representation. The film is bubbly and fun, a bright spot in what can often be a dark world. With "Aladdin," they've done the leveling with just enough style and piazza that most moviegoers won't care that it's a retread, and the leads are good enough to make you hope they'll go on to something real.My family LOVED this movie! It was great how the story-line followed the original cartoon and we liked the new songs, too. We missed Robin Williams as the genie, but Will Smith did an awesome job putting his own spin on it.Beautiful costumes, vibrant colors, wonderful music and songs! Will Smiths portrayal of the genie is awesome and Robin Williams would be so proud!Loved how they made it their own and not tried to copy the original. As one of my favorite Disney movies when I was young, it had just the right amount of nostalgia, but also with a flavor of new element to it. The actors who played Aladdin, Jasmine, Jafar and genie were all great and well casted for their roles. I also liked how they kept the musical scores throughout the movie. Guy Ritchie did a remarkable job bridging this tale of romance and wonder with modern day comedic twists. No one will ever forget Robin Williams as the genie in the lamp but the French Prince did an admirable job bringing to the screen his own rendition.

Alladin was treat to watch! The old arabian night tale is brought back to life in an very interesting way.The visuals are amazing and keeps one captured during the whole run time. The plot is same as the classic arabian night tale , but revisiting it in such a dramatic manner is joy for a disney lover.Acting is too fine. Will smith did a great job as jeanie as always. The movie proceeds in the classic disney musical manner ,which I generally don't like but in Aladdin the songs are done well and the animated extravagance has been swapped for realistic CGI lavishness and nice coreography. There is also a lot more action and you'll be seeing more of what makes Aladdin a crafty thief.Abu and Rajah get as real as a monkey and a tiger could be while also having some personality. If you are a fan of the original Disney classic and love the characters, you will be delighted to see how their roles have been expanded. The new Aladdin is an entertaining ride with lots of dazzling displays of magic , humor , and heartfelt emotions that are going to charam you. This tale of the street rat, the princess , and the magic lamp remains a great watch for all ages.

What can I say. When you hear that one of your favourite Disney classics is going to be recreated for live action, you also hear that tiny voice of trepidation in your head saying "please don't mess this up". Well I'm pleased to say that was not the case here. Aladdin is a complete triumph. Let's break this down. Will Smith as the Genie was always going to be a huge talking point. He had some very large Robin Williams style shoes to fill. Smith admittedly did not want to recreate perfection but instead put his own spin on the character whilst still maintaining the nostalgia of the role. It's fair to say it was a success. There were some classic Smith comedy moments throughout as well as his own original musical flare in some of the films most famous numbers. A great job for the Hollywood legend. As for Mena Massoud (a fairly unknown actor) who played the title character, he was simply perfect for the role. He looked the part, had an excellent singing voice and managed to capture the cheeky charisma of the character brilliantly well. With some excellent dance scenes and some hilarious comedy timing with co star Smith, Massoud was a truly wonderful casting choice for the film. He really is the real life Aladdin. It wasn't just Massoud and Smith who stood out either. Naomi Scott (Princess Jasmine) and Marwan Kenzari (Jafar) gave an equally believable performance in recreating these characters. Naomi's out of this world singing voice was enough to send shivers down your spine whilst the villainous stare and evil tongue of Kenzari did not disappoint. A film is only as strong as its actors and everyone in Aladdin did a phenomenal job. The film itself was very well directed. Props to Guy Ritchie for putting his own personal film style on this without diviating from the well known story line and maintaining the magic of the classic 1992 original. Visually spectacular scenes including the memorable flying carpet scene and the cave of wonders greatly exceeded my expectations. This CGI magic mixed with some excellent musical production scenes made this film one I would watch again and again. A classic story exquisitely made with an immensely talented cast. What more could you want from Disney. For me, watching this was like watching one of my favourite childhood films come to life. 5 stars all day long!

THE HATERS ARE JUST JUGDING FROM THE TRAILERS! This movie has so much heart, it's beautiful, spectacular and the songs brings back so much nostalgia! This characters are explored in much more depth in this re-telling and Naomi Scott does an incredible job as Princess Jasmine. Will Smith makes the Genie his own with hilarious jokes and his connection Aladdin is so heart-warming. Not everyone will come around liking this new Jafar as there are some scenes where his presence is not as itimidating as the original. However, Beautiful movie and one of Disney's best live action remake.

Within a duration of about 2 hours, I was able to journey through my childhood days, and enjoy each and every bit of the ''Whole new world'' as well. Almost three decades have passed in between the old and new film, yet not a single emotion is absent in the new movie. It is as fresh and soothing as the old one. Hats off to @guyritchie, the director of the movie, for recreating most of my favourite scenes. Although a debate about @willsmith as the #genie is on air, Smith is too awesome for this role. He has done great justification for the role as well as for the movie. Once again, he proved that he can portray any role in any movie as efficiently as one can think of. @menamassoud as Aladdin is too adorable. He justified the multifaceted character of #Aladdin - a street rat who is forced to earn his living by thieving, a selfless vulnerable guy, a trustworthy friend and a true lover. But what I like mostly about Disney is the paradigm shift of its recent movies; a shift in the trend of female characters from dwelling on a bubble of romanticism to strong women who can earn their own positions in the society by themselves and not by the mercy of the patriarchal society. #Jasmine of this decade can speak about their own demands. They need no help of any man. They know what they want, and how to get them. Jasmine (played by @naomiscott) is perhaps the best role in the movie, and will be remembered by the audience for a long time. The most powerful tool of this movie is its songs. Old songs are recreated in a wonderful way, especially ''Whole new world''. The new song #Speechless is also too good and powerful (I've already listened to all the songs almost a thousand times in a loop since release) The VFX and other technical tidbits are indeed praiseworthy and mind-blowing. Almost all scenes are breathtakingly awesome. Was there a genie in reality, I would have wished for such wonderful movies from the house of Disney in future... Thanks again to @disney for refreshing our (me and all 90s kids) childhood memories and gifting us a magic carpet ride, far away from lustreless reality, for full two hours. It's a must watch movie for all 90's kids.

Directed by Guy Richie - the same guy who gave us Snatch and Sherlock Holmes is here with an Arabian fairytale ...Aladdin is nothing but a nostalgic dream come true for those who had seen it on TV years ago. We need perhaps more movies like this celebrating love, hope, freedom and the pleasure for being together ..I personally feel we need more movies like this where goodness is rewarded, evil is expelled and togetherness is worshipped. Love is triumphed with every rub on the lamp :)

I grew up with the original animated movie, so I came in with pretty high standards, and came out very impressed. The two leads are solid and the comedic moments were A+. Although I will always be most attached to Robin Williams' genie, Will Smith does a really great job and makes his own version of the character while paying tribute to the original in a way that is very entertaining. "Friend Like Me" and "Prince Ali" were a lot better than any of the trailers/sneak-peaks made them look. That being said, I wasn't incredibly fond of the one new song addition, to be honest, and there were definitely a few changes from the animated film that I wasn't totally sold on. But there were also a number of new moments and changes (the jam/gift scene had me cracking up) that I really enjoyed. No movie is perfect, but this one was definitely one of the good ones and I would recommend that anyone who loved the animated one go and see it!

I will attempt to do this without too much bias from my 5-year-old self who fell in love with the 1992 Disney classic, "Aladdin." I took my girls to see the live-action version today and it did not fail to deliver. Without any spoilers, here is what had me leaving the theater feeling like a kid with a dumb smile on my face. Jasmine was physically gorgeous and vocally spectacular. I did not know who Naomi Scott was going into this, but she certainly has my vote for future films. The way she belted "A Whole New World" and crushed her two new solos restored my faith in modern vocalization. She didn't necessarily sound like every pop-star born out of whatever reality t.v contest happened to be poisoning the nation at the time. Her voice seemed more pure, unique, and fresh. And whether or not you're into "extreme feminism" or "women empowerment" I would say, as a father of two women-in-training, most can agree that she was a breath of fresh air from your typical Disney princess without being over the top or anti-man. While Jafar's mannerisms were certainly maniacal and it was clear that he was obsessed with taking the throne, I had a difficult time with his voice. Jonathan Freeman (1992 Jafar) sounded like and delivered his lines in a way you would expect a classic villain. In my opinion, the new voice of Jafar left something to be desired. That said, the character overall was decently played and got the job done. Our main protagonist had the look and moves, but again, it was a voice thing for me. Perhaps this is in part to the fact that I had Steve from "Full House" and the singing talents of Brad Kane stuck in my mind. I understand you are trying to be different than your predecessor, but there were some sung lines that seemed short and cut-off; possibly even hesitant. Like Jafar, Aladdin was mostly positives and certainly held my attention. On to sets, scenery, and costumes. What can I say? They were absolutely visually stunning! The colors were crisp and vibrant and the set designs gorgeous. The way everything flowed together with such ease made you feel as though you were in Agrabah. I imagine the 3-D would have been incredible, as you can clearly see how certain scenes were made specifically for it. Well, I suppose that's it. I don't believe I am missing anyone important... JUST KIDDING! I had to save the best for last. Let's just agree right now that the late, beloved Robin Williams certainly MADE the Genie, and increased the overall quality of the original classic by about 200%. Nobody could ever reprise his role and do it justice. Anyone taking on this blue powerhouse would absolutely have to do their own thing, and Will Smith did NOT disappoint. With great respect for Mr. Williams, Mr. Smith originally declined the role, but I could not be happier that he reconsidered. Everyone knows "Big Willie" can drop a beat but the way he rocks the vocals in all of his singing numbers is enough to make the part his. Add that to his personal twist on the humor and he IS the complete Genie package. All in all, I would give "Aladdin" an 8/10. It is a great watch for the whole family as children and adults alike will laugh, dance, and sing along to this modern Disney masterpiece.

Aladdin is the beautiful delight of the Disney pictures. The cartoon in the 1990's and the movie is simply beautiful. The director has tried his best to outperform the cartoon series, but could not do that as watching a cartoon in the childhood with the CGI is quite different and fantastic feeling but watching the same thing with humans involved including the CGI is not so easy to digest. Not all the cartoon series can be really successful to be remade into movies. The music and CGI and the Direction and everything are perfect to their ability. However the only concern here is opting to make the it as a movie when most of the world has already enjoyed it as a series and books for a long long time. however the movie is a worth watchable. The kids will definitely love it but being the 1990's kid its hard to accept it.

It has comedy, action, romance, adventure and everything else including in all genres of all movie. The acting from everyone was great. Good acting performance by Will Smith a.k.a Genie, Mena Massoud a.k.a Aladdin & Naomi Scott a.k.a Jasmine. For all of you, go see it you wont regret it !! Absolute musical perfection.

The movie surprisingly begins with a normal human Will Smith narrating a story to his kiddos, and then unfolds the story of Aladdin and Jasmine. The story line itself is nothing "out of the BLUE", barring "Genie", but many aspects and the emotional connect that the 80s and 90s kids have with the story will make them love it. Not that I know and understand a lot about cinema, but 3D effects has to be one of the most revolutionary things that ever happened to cinema! You feel like you have settled in Agrabah and are moving around with Aladdin aur Jasmine. Mena Masood alias Aladdin makes the petty thief and Prince characters look quite convincing. Not everyone can pull off such contrasting characters equally well. Naomi Scott looks stunning and has played her part with equal poise. She plays "The caged Princess", who wants to live as per her free will and look after our subjects as the next Sultan. Will Smith is his usual par excellence, playing the trapped Genie with the skewed sense of humour and kind heart. Will Smith is probably one of the most emotive actor that I have come across, it's all in his facial expressions. Marwan kenzari, the Jafar or Wazir plays a convincing advisor and the sultan's favourite to accede the Throne. So, the "Game of Thrones" is between Vazir, Sultan, his daughter and Aladdin..! Navid Negahban is the Sultan, kind hearted for his subjects and caring and overprotective for his daughter. This is a sort of a musical movie where the characters break into song, time and again, to kind of think loudly. The film is produced by Dan Lin who was also at the helm of movies like The Terminator series, the Departed, Sherlock Holmes, etc. Screenplay and direction by Guy Ritchie is rich too. Cinematography by Alan Stewart stands tall depicting this city and the events that take place in the desert. The magnanimity, CGI and technological hand make it even more charming!

It was a wonderful film that paid homage to the classic animated film. While adding it’s own magical touch to the story. Beautiful singing and world building. Real stand outs of the film were Abu, Carpet, and Genie. The colors of the whole movie were so vibrant. And Im so happy Will Smith is singing for movies again.

The original animated movie is still better, and theres a lot that could have been done to make this better, but still a decent use of time and a reimagining of the story today. I just wish Jafar was actually done correctly. Will Smith did a good job as the Genie, and put his own spin on it, which took nothing away from Robin Williams portrayal. I loved the music.

From the beginning, I was truly transported to a whole new world and all my childhood wishes were fulfilled. Simply the movie feel made me feel like a kid . Will Smith has worked so well and I think he is the perfect choice for this role. The musical parts in particular are probably the best parts of the film. There's also a song called speechless which is surpisingly good.

Aladdin is exciting tale of a street rat and the charming Jasmine. Disney's 1992 musical cartoon was a fabulous hit in the 1990's.The movie is a well lovable by the kids of the 90s as they will be more connected with the cartoon series and the film. Disney is making most of its movies from the books and old cartoon series which are already successful. The director has depended mostly on the CGI and it has definitely shown it strength and impact on the audience while watching. Music and the direction has taken the movie to the next level. Though the story is already known since its a well known cartoon. However the movie is still a hit with the hard work of the director, Mena and Naomi along with the music and cinematographer.

Disney has been treading on very thin ice with their factory line-up of live-action films, most that refuse to break the mould or take any risks from their earlier counterparts. Their latest, Aladdin, continues to attempt to revive nostalgia. Twenty-seven years ago, the original Aladdin became one of the most popular animated films to ever be made, usurped from its throne only in 1994 by The Lion King, which Disney is adapting soon. This process only seems to disinterest younger audiences — case in point: the failure of Dumbo — who have a whole new world of novel content. Inadvertently, the films end up tainting the ever-so-fond memories that we have all grown up with. Though faithfully retold to oppressively sacrosanct levels, Guy Ritchie’s remake features some of the English director’s signature strokes. His sleight of hand with slick action flourishes in the cat-and-mouse chases, as Aladdin escapes the clutches of his pursuers. But it’s not enough to buoy the film’s drawbacks. Take for instance, what passed off as romantic in the 90s is now outright misogynist today. Princess Jasmine (Naomi Scott) cannot be the ruler of her city or marry the man of her choice. She must be seen and not heard. The feeble attempt to give her a feminist shot in the arm is a mere ‘Let It Go’-like song a la Frozen. The track, ‘Speechless’ is absolutely transparent, completely nullifying the character’s context. Strangely, some of Ritchie’s supporting actors have a Middle-Eastern accent while others sport no affectation. Plus, how good can a musical really be when its numbers are excessively extravagant with garish costumes and hackneyed Bollywood choreography? Some of Aladdin’s beloved tracks — such as ‘A Whole New World’ — will perennially be evocative, but some of the additions lack the punch that a worthy earworm needs. What makes matters worse is when Abu the monkey shares better chemistry with a mute magic carpet instead of the two stars, Scott and Mena Massoud who plays the titular character. Aladdin’s biggest lure, over and above its sentimental lasso, is Will Smith as Genie. Though the actor might not be able to fill Robin Williams’ shoes (from the original), his wisecracks, swagger and one-liners are singularly entertaining, forcing drooping eyelids to remain open. Of note is Alan Stewart’s cinematography which soars with shots of arid deserts and balmy bazaars, capturing the sizzle of the fictional kingdom of Agrabah. Since Disney is determined to continue on the live-action remake warpath, we can only hope they’ll do a better job with the upcoming The Lion King.

I know everyone wants to compare this to the Animated version, but don't. Take it as it comes and you will thoroughly enjoy it. It does stay pretty faithful to the animated version I think. Will Smith as the genie could never be the Robyn Williams genie, but I don't think he tries to. He does fantastically well in his own right. Absolutely loved the Prince Ali song where Aladdin enters the city as the prince. Brilliantly colorful spectacle captured really well. Jafar missed a little for me as had lost the smarmy-ness of the animated version. The songs were great and the Aladdin and Jasmine characterization was pretty spot on. I think kids would love this and I would definitely recommend it.

This live action interpretation of the classic Disney cartoon is largely faithful to the original material. The leads are engaging enough and fear not, even though Will Smith is no Robbin Williams, he does adds his own flavor to the role while shadowing some of Williams energy. Not the same but entertaining in its own right. The music is still bouncy and fun and couple of new ones have been added. Will it have the same niche in history as it's predecessor? Probably not, but it will be frequently be played back to back with it for comparison. Overall good family fun movie

This movie holds up to the original. The music delivers on every note, the dancing was done beautifully, the setting was beautifully shot and everyone did an outstanding performance as their characters especially Naomi Scott and Will Smith. The movie is very entertaining, could have done more and some roles could have been casted better like Genie and Jafar but nonetheless it was a great film.

Aladdin cleverly spins the Arabian Nights tale into a whole new generation. As a fan of the original music and story, I was pleasantly surprised with what the new Aladdin brings to the table in terms of the lore. The costumes are just beautiful, the changes to the story were great especially having a stronger portrayal of Princess Jasmine, and just the little flavors of Arabic inspired intrumentals in all the musical numbers was a really nice touch that adds to the authenticity of the piece.

Alright, I was 11 when Aladdin came out in '92 and I instantly fell in love with the film and soundtrack. Now fast forward to tonight and I've now seen the live adaptation at 38. I won't lie, I was super skeptical about the film for so many reasons but the main reason was that Robin Williams could never be replaced as the Genie. I was ready to leave the theater within the first 20 minutes due to the pacing of the film but I knew I couldn't do that without seeing what the always charismatic Will Smith could possibly do to fill these impossible blue shoes. I am SO glad that I stayed because as soon as the Friend Like Me song started the movie flipped the nostalgic kid switch in me. It was such an amazing sequence and I knew instantly that Will Smith was the perfect casting for this role. I'm certain that Robin Williams would approve of his respectful take. If you have reservations about this film, let them go. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with what entire cast and crew were able to create. It may not be a whole new world but it's pretty close !!!

Aladdin is a musical fantasy film produced by Walt Disney pictures. Aladdin takes the people into magical adventure after he gets lamp which releases a genie. This is a lavishly entertaining re make of the film from a cartoon book or series. Will smith and Scott acting was really extra ordinary and had took up the story upfront very well. Disney is taking up one after the other books and cartoons to make films and turning them a wonderful watch, on the big screen rather than on the small screens (televisions). The CGI is being the best in Aladdin and the story is also based on the previous versions and they did not deviate anything from it. however this is a must watch for the Aladdin series fans and followers. The 90s kids love the movie a lot.

Nostalgic! truly nostalgic feeling while seeing the movie!! The background score is revamped with new touch but having the old curious background score from the old cartoon and games! Will smith, OMG he is so damn funny in entire movie and he has stolen the show! AS ALWAYS :) I had gone in the early morning show with family and thought it would be boring and would feel sleepy but right from the start till the end it was astonishing. Full marks to the director and the VfX team! This 2 hour and 4 minutes movie is stunning. You must watch if u want to be in the old times with creative visuals ;)

It is one of the most amazing animated movie I have ever seen. It's one of the best of 2019 also. Amazing storytelling made the movie more better and also the VFX enhances the movie and completes it. This movie is good to watch with family and friends.

Enjoyable, fun and entertaining throughout with some great songs, great special effects, good acting and a classic story which moves at the right pace. Although it's pretty much a blow by blow remake of the original, there are some new songs and modern additions which work well and although it all ends a bit too neatly, it is a superb production.

Everything in the movie is about it is so much fun to watch.
