Rajkummar Rao and rest of the star cast act brilliantly. But the story is routine, and it's treatment, execution very ordinary. The climax is very weak. Background music is standard; hence the desired impact of the critical scenes are lessened to a great extent. The film could have been 15-20 mins less. The direction isn't extraordinary. So overall the film turns to be average. Music is decent. It's a one time watch

Agrippa posted a review for Ludo (2020) in Movies
The film just starts from somewhere just like a Tarantino film with no real early insight on what is happening . We are slowly given birth to its world and what is really special about its film is its execution . The execution is unique and it keeps you hooked to the story . The film is rightly named as Ludo as it shows so many parallels with the board game . The ending scene of the film is extremely symbolic if you think about it . Pankaj Tripathi is just phenomenal in his role . He is calm minded yet violent and thats what i liked so much about the character. His character is much like Bob Biswas in Kahaani . Rajkumar Rao is as usual fabulous with his acting and the female leads did put forth commendable performances . Abhishek Bachchan is truly a gem for Indian cinema ... He has so much potential but yeah he shouldn't be compared with his father cause he is so much different .. overall the film is really good and unique with superb direction from Anurag Basu . Probably one of the best films of bollywood this year till now .

The original itself was a bad movie but entertaining in parts. This Akshay Kumar starrer is a complete replica of "Kanchana". The only difference they managed to make is bringing in the "Hindu-Muslim" angle. Rest everything is the same. The IQ of this movie is directly proportional to the IQ of Twinkle Khanna. Detailed movie is not at all required here I guess as I mentioned earlier this movie is exact replica of Kanchana. The same overacting. Similar screenplay.

Agrippa posted a review for Scam 1992 (Web Series 2020) in Movies
Okay, so the bottom line is "Harshad Mehta" was involved in most of the wrong doing but was he the only guy responsible ? No, Never. In a scam like huge as 1992 shown in this series, it was never one person befooling the entire nation. This show has 2 names written all over it, Pratik gandhi (harshad mehta) and the creator himself Hansal mehta. What a crazy show he has pulled off, no big actors with huge following but bunch of actors who have shown their par excellence in this 9 episode long series. this is the best work of hansal mehta that he has pulled of in his career. From the scene 1 to the last - pratik gandhi has stole the show. What a great addition to the film industry. The strongest point in this very complicated series filled with so many jargons is the fact is it's screenplay - to the point, no nonsense, no strong language without any use, no vulgarity and just a focus on story-line. A strong screenplay and good direction is always the key to the film/ series and SCAM 1992 is here to prove it. Don't think just watch it, you love it and want to watch it in just one go - too good to be made for an Indian audience which focuses only on one thing a good meme templates, which this series is definitely not.

Agrippa posted a review for Mirzapur Season 2 (Web Series 2020) in Movies
The first two episodes are understandably slow, considering that the characters are still learning to cope with the wedding massacre. But till the end of 10 episodes the same pace continues. One is just waiting for it to end. Audience will miss Bablu Pandit (Vikrant Massey) and Compounder’s (Abhishek Banerjee)powerful performances in season 2. The worst part is that the climax is predicable, and it leaves one praying that there is no season 3 that follows.
