Mukesh posted a review for The Beach Bum in Movies
Can't really recommend it. Pretty stupid movie about a pretty stupid guy doing a whole bunch of pretty stupid stuff non-stop continuously, in the guise of having fun trying to pursue his supposed poetry writing brilliant genius career. Never bought it. Whole movie including Matthews performance had a trying too hard, desperate to be hip, cool, laid back veneer to it. Never rang true. Snoop saying 'mother f'er all the time and Mathew with a newfound sociopath buddy smashing (spoiler) an old retiree on his electric scooter passing by in his head with a beer bottle in order to get a little more spending green to continue having more incredibly stupid mindless fun... just was not fun for me. Sorry. Guess I'm just unhip and inadequate to the sublime pleasures of such entertainments. I like Mathew and respect him as an excellent great actor. Just look no further than 'The Lincoln Lawyer', 'Killer Joe', 'Gold', 'Dallas Buyers Club', 'Interstellar' among many other favorites, and especially 'Mud', as proof positive of the greatness and wide ranging versatility of his acting. But this one disappointed. Did not live up to past heights. I'm guessing it (ignoring the senior citizen head bashing leaving him unconscious in the middle of the night sprawled on the pavement without a second thought, to go have more mindless drunken stupid stoner doper fun) looked good on paper. And I imagine the paycheck was satisfying enough. But man, not the best showcase for your talents dude. Wanted and pretty much expected to like it at least reasonably well going in. But it didn't take long at all to feel that expectation and hope slipping away. Although there were some mildly enjoyable mini bits sprinkled throughout it here and there, I still had a surprisingly strong urge to walk out a couple of times just for the sheer monumentally mindless depths of stupid stupidity of it all. But I stuck it out bro, right up to the weak, limp, nonsensical, unredeeming, unsatisfying, and of course very stupid end. So I guess it's clear I'll not be recommending it today. Not as bad as poke in the eye with a sharp stick, but I'll pass on both the sharp stick and really wouldn't have missed much of anything had I missed this one. Better luck on the next one Matt and I will go see you in that one, based your exemplary past accomplishments and my faith in you bro. But please bro, just please do try to sidestep, avoid, go nowhere near, another rank steaming turkey pile like this one in the future, ok man?

Mukesh posted a review for Wonder Park in Movies
It's an alright movie, my chief complaint seems to be the speed and the pacing of the story because a lot of things happen very quickly and at times it's hard to keep up. The characters are beautiful and well animated, but all of that goes by a bit too fast to truly appreciate. The theater isn't the place for this film, rather looking forward to the Blu Ray release so I can get some frame by frame recaps. I decided to be a patron of this while it was in cinemas to signal the hollywood machine that films about young women in STEM are a good thing that puts forward a positive role model. It doesn't disappoint in that aspect but certain story lines are a bit pedantic, like the film tries to be a bit deep by taking a copy of "RollerCoaster Tycoon II" and turning it into "That Dragon, Cancer" but it just doesn't go anywhere. The brief episodic crying sequences just seem a bit odd, but it works out for the kids who get sad so they can leave and come back when that part is over. Either way I can't recommend people see this in theaters if they're looking to get something out of it, the graphics are gorgeous and the acting is very good but the editing tries to piece together a story that's just not fully there.

Mukesh posted a review for Avengers: Endgame in Movies
Phenomenally entertaining masterpiece!!! The Russo brothers nailed it again!!! I'm so grateful they're directing these movies. It makes them so much better and everything is so well thought out. Love it!! It's so on-point. Has everything drama, suspense, some funny comedy moments, full of adventure, mystery, and impressive action sequences I've ever seen. It's the most best superhero movie I've ever seen in my life. The acting was superb and convincing. Very well directed, written and lucid with a fantastic plot. An amazing emotional experience not only for the fans, but for everyone that has seen all the Marvel movies accumulated all together with our most favorite iconic characters we love. What an incredible journey we've come so far to conclude 22 Marvel films. I had a great time watching it and does not disappoint. Lots of great twists and turns throughout the whole movie. Has to deal with tragedy, catastrophe, and dealing with consequences of our actions and to overcome our struggles in life. There's a lot of heart warming moments that will make you melt. It will have you off the edge of your seat, your eyes glued to the screen, unexpected surprises and moments, and emotional sad events that you don't want to miss. The Avengers does whatever it takes in this epic bold finale that will live on their legacy within our hearts. Perfection. Amazing movie!!! I definitely recommend to watch this with your whole family and friends, you won't regret it. 10/10. I love this movie!!!

Mukesh posted a review for Simmba in Movies
Simmba is one of the hit pictures of this era. The reason being, it includes everything that entertains indian audiences. Drama, Fantasy, Comedy, Action & Romance a full package of entertainment, which makes it SUPERHIT! Rohit Shetty known for his direction in various hit series like Singham, Golmaal, etc. had made a film casting Ranveer Singh. Ranveer himself is known for his excellence & perfection in every single role, he offered. The blockbuster combination of both perfectionist had attracted the interest of viewer the most. However, Sara Ali Khan had also performed her best in the movie. Special Appearence of Ajay Devgan had made the movie more interesting. It actually is the most hit movie in the new year eve. Hats off to their combine efforts that excited our interests.I personally love the movie. Ranveer's acting is mindblowing & Sara leave everyone spellbound with her grace. Basically, the thing that I like is Ranveer's look, that moustache look, suits him best. The movie not only entertains the viewers it also gives a social message to its audience, which is really appreciating.I would suggest everyone to see it on nearby theaters & enjoy it. Believe me you will like watching it !!

Mukesh posted a review for John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum in Movies
John Wick 3 is without a doubt the best action movie to have come out in a few years. And its so surprising and refreshing to see that movies like this still exist. Most action movies you see is filled with ridiculous amounts of shaky-cam, fast edits and way over-the-top fights. This is perfect. You can see all action clear as day, and by god the stuns in this film are extraordinary. Why the Academy Awards don't award talent like this is beyond me. There were times that I wondered if they had used CGI, because someone nuts must be willing to throw themselves from motorbikes and through glass. But whatever case it is, its a dam joy to watch. As with the previous 2 installments, John Wick 3 is where Keanu Reeves is at home. This role was just made for him, and watching him stand toe to toe with powerhouses like Halle Berry, Ian McShane, Laurence Fishburne and Anjelica Huston, not only shows how good he is as an action star, but as an actor in general. He hasn't been given a role this good since the Matrix, but those movies never showed how good he was just at acting. He sells this movie. The supporting cast is all amazing, and I loved how they left their character's hanging, giving us hope of seeing them in future installments. I also loved how more in-depth the movie spent on world-building. The way it brings in different cultures into this assassin guild is done very well. John Wick 3 is an amazing action movie that never loses its steam throughout, and its 2 hour run times flies past, because of non-stop action that is directed and choreographed to perfection. I can't wait to see if they manage to pull off the 4th like they did here.
