Mithran posted a review for Music to Be Murdered By in Music
The headlines generated by this album deal almost exclusively with “Darkness,” which uses a series of double entendres to tease the reveal that it’s a song written from the perspective of the Las Vegas shooter. Its video ends with a plea for listeners to vote and “help change gun laws in America.” Well-intentioned though it may be, “Darkness” cuts against Eminem’s strengths as a writer and as a vocalist. His best work is brash and irreverent, even when dealing with serious subject matter: See the way he once rapped almost gleefully about the addiction that nearly killed him, or recall the time he taunted, eight months after 9/11, the kinds of kids who would be conned into enlisting. While he still shows the capacity to surprise and exhilarate as a rapper, too many of his songwriting’s eccentric edges have been sanded down and replaced by what is comparatively automatic or, worse, anonymous. On one song, he describes himself as a cross between Blueface and the Boston Strangler—a level of absurdity that Music to Be Murdered By aspires to but achieves only in fleeting moments.

Mithran posted a review for Street Dancer 3 in Movies
I would recommend watching this movie! It was amazing - the message behind it was beautiful and it was more than just a regular dance movie! The acting was amazing as usual by Varun and Shraddha and I don’t think the amazing actors should be blamed for the movie as I have seen. There was some mistakes I picked on where one of the girls was calling Nora her actual name Nora rather than Mia which is what is her name in the movie apparently. I saw the reviews myself and wasn’t going to go but honestly I recommenced watching it. I’m no dancer so didn’t pick on anything but there wasn’t any mistakes that would be so serious and I’m not being funny their actors their humans yes these mistakes should have been looked over but rather than being narrow minded look at the bigger picture and watch the movie and you will see what I mean and see that it has to be one of the best movies made in a while and yeah it was a long dance movie but it is called street dancer what did you expect? && The fact they had a message behind it shows more depth and I think it was amazing and loved it! Would definitely watch it again and can’t wait to buy a copy! I would definitely recommend it and watch it for yourself! Loved it!!!!

Mithran posted a review for Gretel & Hansel in Movies
I thought this would be an interesting take on the traditional storyline on Hansel and Gretel but I left this movie incredibly disappointed. I wont dive into spoilers but theres too many plotholes and too many unanswered questions. I.e. one of the first encounters with danger the kids came across alone. Then the ending was just...it was left open and left me wanting a more solid ending. I understand that happy endings arent always going to happen but the ending can at least be solved because there is no way in the heavenly earth id go see a second making of this film. No way. But in regard to the overall look of the film, it was nice and pleasant. There were some awkward shots but it gave me an indie film kind of vibe which I liked. The plot couldve used more work.

Mithran posted a review for Dolittle in Movies
Could have been a lot better. Graphics and sets were good enough. Some reviews say its too fast pace but the real issue is that nearly every shot of character dialogue is framed in a close shot, very close shot, medium shot or pan. This creates an extremely disjointed storytelling where the camera is constantly jumping close up quickly from one character to the next. If they just framed the action with still medium long shots so we could actually watch the action unfold it would have zillion times better. It would slow the pace right down so we could actually digest and enjoy what we are seeing - this is bad direction. The script and story need a lot of work and while Robert Downey Junior is a great actor he is (like in my opinion in Sherlock) is way too much in his head when he acts in this film. Sure he does great dialogue accents etc but it's disconnected from his feelings so we don't feel his experience and feelings as he goes along.

Mithran posted a review for Bad Boys For Life in Movies
Bad Boys Took It to the Next Level With heart and humor! Will Smith And Martin Lawrence make a wonderful action comedic duo who tugs at our hearts each and every time. This one had some great twists, turns, and surprises that I normally can figure out. I am so glad they kept me guessing and was not a typical action movie. The multi-cultural cast was refreshing and I am looking forward to Bad Boys 4! But do not keep me us waiting another 20 years......please?! My Boys and I enjoyed it together even though they were not even a thought when I saw the first movie of the franchise hit!
