'Sonu ke titu ki sweety' tries to deal with the age old concept of bros before gals. It is rib tickling in parts with one witty line here or there. But overall, I was disappointed with the movie. Luv Ranjan portrayed 6 female characters who were hated by males and females alike, in the 'pyaar ka punchnama' series. However, in SKTKS, Luv Ranjan forgot to give a motive to the girl in the entire plot. The only thing that she tries to do is to threaten Sonu from Titu when she fully knows that Titu will choose him over her anyday. Sonu wears an 'all play no work' pullover in one of the scenes which totally defines him. He is jobless and I guess he will never let Titu get married as he is busy 'saving' Titu from EVERY bad girl (and girls are by default bad according to Luv Ranjan). On the sunny side, songs are peppy. Alok Nath's character is totally un'sanskari' this time and he nailed the character with elan. Overall, this movie doesn't live upto the expectations of 'pyaar ka punchnama' series.
