Most of the people are telling the movie 'Student of the Year 2' is lengthy, boring, unrealistic etc.. May be.. But I find some real facts. The movie gives the messages - 1. Life doesn't give us the chance to rectify our repeated mistakes again and again, 2. Selfishness and not giving the proper respect to your well wishers, true lovers never lead to a good ending of your life, 3. hard work, practice, believing on yourself can beat talent, and last but not the least 4..team work is the best. I think these are the real values which we should remember and obey in our life. Tiger's fighting and dancing skills again amazed me. Also, acting was good, mostly Tiger and Ananya's.
Described as a full-color book, Body Music uses a soft, muted, limited palette; in many ways it’s closer to a black-and- white offering. But Maroh’s lines, and the way she uses color selectively, effectively evoke mood and emotion throughout. The scene demonstrates the power of a complete, full love, even one that has since been broken; perhaps it’s this paradigm of powerful, but not necessarily permanent, love that Maroh wishes to illustrate. The scene that follows, featuring two children who feel a deep connection to each other despite uncertainty about gender identity and the future in general, is also exemplary.
There might not be anything new about an underdog sports comedy, but this one is entertaining enough even for viewers who can't tell Nike Jordans from Irvings. Howery, best known as the scene-stealing best friend from Get Out, is effective here as the straight man comedy lead. His comedy skills are on point, and he's easily believable as a lovable loser basketball fanatic. Comedy queen Tiffany Haddish co-stars as his hilariously materialistic girlfriend, Jess, who dumps him for Mookie, played by Kroll in a delightfully manic performance.
Production wise it's very clean, not too much going on that it becomes distracting or overwhelming. Cool beat - I especially love the subtle flamenco guitar strum (you can hear it really clearly in the very beginning) . Ed’s harmonies rock as always and the hook is addictive.
Dhadak is not the unconventional love story that we are accustomed to see in Bollywood. It shows us the cruel truth of life. What it is, you need to check it out. Much like the original Marathi version, Sairat, Dhadak is set in Udaipur. This is indeed Shashank Khaitaan’s finest work till date. This movie beautifully manages to capture the melodramatic moments and the chemistry between Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter is electrifying.
