Worth the price for hardcore enthusiasts, but stay well away if not. We have been begging to EA sports for a long time to have another crack at making a rugby game but it doesn't seem like they're interested. The overall verdict is it literally gasping to just play a decent rugby game- buy this. You're gonna get frustrated and you will be disappointed by a number of elements of the game, but it will fill the void. It's very playable unlike previous editions. If you're not desperate don't waste your money. Rugby 20 isn't the game we were all hoping for. But it's certainly progress. They're on track but there's so much still to be done.

I like this game even though not the best mechanics for a sport game, but the developers improved so much on there last poor games. Things that turns me off from this game. - Sprinting feels like normal speed and feels like everyone has the same speed and that sucks big time. I give example the winger is open he has a prop infront of him the prop catch him still it does not make sense one bit mate. -Southern Hemisphere licenses come on guys how the hell you still not sort this one out ffs fix this and this game will be number one rugby game. - passing just stupid. -goal kicking very stupid. - The biggest complain would be the player models obeast that you want to swap the player. ( Go have a look how Will Skelton looks like from Saracens fix this easy fix)

For gameplay I'd give 7/10 , enjoyable but access to a manual for the right stick advanced controls wouldn't have gone amiss. I like the way scrums and lineouts controls work. Very intuitive. I don't like that you have to click RS before you call the set play...seems unnecessary. Set plays are limited, but that's OK. Graphics 3/10. No way I could tell who these guys are IRL. Pitches are very average. Replayability 3/10. This is limited due to the how much effort needs to go into making a player better. A career mode would have been great. The "ultimate team" mode needed a lot more work. Although I hate loot cards, I was able to get around that using cheat engine to get more coins. Accuracy 4/10. I guess not calling a lot of knock on's is pretty accurate but still just as frustrating. Many players cards are just weird. I mean making some players like Sexton worse than Englands 3rd best 10 is weird. Making Skelton better than Eztabeth. I understand you need to have tiers of players, but using a system like Madden might do it better. Overall 6/10 but I am very hopeful. This game could have been amazing, but the foundation is there to build on. Hope they keep this going and release another soon.

I like the game very much - it's controls are comfortable and the gameplay is also good but I am somewhat disappointed with the story of the game. I think that it could have a better story and I also don't like the graphics of this game. The developers could have much better graphics and I think that it is a three star game.

This game when it first released would have received a 1 out of 5 from me but the constant updates and patches have absolutely transformed the game into what i can honestly say is the first rugby game i have enjoyed playing since i was a child. The difference between the first release of the game and what i am now playing is enough for most games companies to warrant/issue an entirely new release and it is so refreshing to see a fame company show actual passion for their game and appreciation for the fans that have taken a chance on it. In other words i really liked the game very much !
